"Are you considering a rebound? Maybe try it, can't know until you try."
superb question. according to your definition... no. 😛 there's a guy friend that i've hung out with a couple times who I haven't hung out with since last fall when my ex and I were still together. I'd told him I'm not looking for anything more than friends and he's accusing me of trying to rebound with him. LOL! He's pushing for more, and I'm reigning things back ... and yet I'm being accused of trying to rebound. No sex, no funny business btw. *smh* It's so ridiculous that I'm over it. Like I need more drama.
A rebound is someone you go to to help you move on from your last relationship. Or someone you go to satisfy other needs after a recent break up. That's just my own definition, though.
Rebound is really a quick way of alleviating the loneliness people feel when a relationship ends. To be honest, at this stage people in rebound are like leeches, they want the attention, they want love, they want warmth, they want emotional (even economic and material) support and they may get back to the previous relationship (to solve their unresolved problems) leaving you feel like a jackass.
Been in this kind of crap once??_!
