Did anyone see the Geminid meteor shower last night— It was amazing.


Anyways, I went out to an old childhood friend's house to watch it...and it just so happened I saw the Aqua boy that first brought me to DXP!
He had moved out to Colorado a while back and was back home for the Holidays. I was totally not expecting to see him.
But it was nice, actually, not awkward at all. It had been awkward in the past when I've run into him, but this time was completely different. We acted as old friends. 🙂🙂🙂

I guess if no one remembers the situation...that means nothing.
But I'm like 😄 today since there's the first glimmer of hope we can be friends again. I missed him a little

Ugh. There were absolutely fireworks a couple years ago.
But I guess he changed his mind. LOL
I appreciated the fact that he was so upfront with me when his feelings changed,
but honestly, that was one of the few times in my life I felt so rejected by a guy... & to make things worse, we were childhood friends. We tried to go back to "normal" and act as if nothing happened between us, but it was always awkward after that - never the same again.



BUT I am glad we're past that...and we can be normal again. It was good to see him & it felt great to hug him again.

I'm seriously like 😄😄😄😄😄 today.


I think he may even have been hinting he wanted to see me again before he left...since he asked what "everyone" was doing tomorrow but really directed the question at me.

But I'll probably avoid that one. I never changed my mind about him...I don't need to feel that all over again

No actually. I was mega relieved too...because I didn't realize he was going to be there until literally last minute.
But I could tell he was really making an effort.
