Posted by P-AngelThis has little to do with people eating and driving.
What the hell?
So, some dude passed you on the highway, and you noticed he was eating as he flew past you ... and you're so emotionally weak, that you can't handle it without coming here to whine about it?
I mean, I get rants and all ... but, this rant is about how other people spend their lives? It's not even about you?
It's about how you don't approve of how others eat and drive?
What a douche

Posted by elllesqueWtf? So that driver entered your place when you weren't there?
I kind of have a rant.....I think....not sure what I feel about it quite yet....but I think he scorpio moons will get a kick out of it.
Tis the season to buy lots of stuff online, right? Well, for me it is.
I had a packaged delivered yesterday. I've had a few delivered the past few weeks. I live in an apartment complex now (LOVE IT)....so, when these packages arrive and I'm not home, they are placed in the main office for me to pick up.
I received the notification from UPS yesterday....but I was running late after work and the office was closed. Oh well, I can get it tomorrow.
I went home.....walked in the door.....and to my surprise......the package was sitting on the floor in my sitting room.
😐
Kind of creeped me out. Was a nice gesture but I'm still like...."WTF were you doing letting yourself in my place?"
Merry Christmas?......or should I plan on installing cameras? *scratches head*

Posted by jukeyI totally agree. Its just a big death trap going 55mph+ most of the time.Posted by SoulI'm very self-conscious about driving. I didn't get my license till I was 29 because I walked or biked to my jobs. And I loved it and still do it when the opportunity presents itself. I could zone out and not think about people on my scenic routes. The city environment adds a challenge to that. Now, this whole driving business keeps me focused on things out of my control that I don't wish to focus on. I don't easily dismiss my close calls when someone isn't paying attention or drivers speed past me while going the speed limit. It just seems like a preventable hot mess. Quick decisions can go either way on the road. People will be people, myself included. So they make me appreciate my unbroken bones and relationships, avoiding the wheel when feasible.
Maybe it's because I'm a pretty paranoid driver, but being worried while driving has kept me safe this long. I'm not pretending to know what I'm talking about, making predictions, or only encountered one person. I drive 40+ miles daily depending on job, and almost every day I see a wreck. Dozens of them are fatalities yearly. These deaths come from wrecks, weather, deer, and sometimes rouge tires. I'd also put money on it that most we're from people on the phone, eating, or any other thing to distract them from driving and ultimately eliminating reaction time.
It just pisses me off to no end. The fact of the matter is they make the speed limit for a perfectly good reason. To give you time to react when needed , and also save on gas. Yet almost the whole population thinks it's dumb and not needed.click to expand

Posted by elllesqueI would feel violated too. Mainly because I know the type of freak I am.Posted by Rambunctious76The thing is, the apartment manager is a gemini and the maintenance super is a pisces. I actually read both their charts for them the day I applied for the apartment. Lol.Posted by elllesqueAsk them in the morning.
I don't think it was the driver.....there is no way they could have gotten in my place.
I think it was the office people. they are the only ones who would have my keys.
If it's them then you have nothing to worry about. But if you still worry, you can tell them to call you first for further instructions, in future.
I really think there was no malice and they were just being nice....I just feel a little violatedclick to expand

Posted by Rambunctious76Well thanks #^_^#Posted by SoulAt this point I feel like I need to bake some cookies for you. Sprinkled with icing.
Thats pretty good you don't have anything to rant about.
Me on the other hand has noticed lately things that annoy me deeply stick in my head to the point I think about them at least once a day, and really need a place to just let it go and get over myself.click to expand

So let me get this started with none other then people who ride so close to your ass on the road they can smell what you ate for breakfast. They're always waving their hands and flapping their lips and giving you the finger like a flipping idiot. These are likely the same people to fly past you at 90mph in a 55 while stuffing their fat face with food, driving with one toe, smoking a cigarette, and taking on the phone to some other idiot on why the economy is so bad. Hey jackass, if you quit pressing the pedal to the floor you'd save gas. If you quit smoking and stuffing your damn face with food you'd save money. And I'm looked at as he bad guy, the stupid idiot in the way because I'm driving the speed limit and giving as little throttle as possible to save gas. But again, I'm the fucking bad guy and the idiot in the way, because that's the twisted shitty mentality of the country I live in. Being efficient, safe, and thinking ahead is the wrong way according to 70% of American drivers.
