For what it's worth.

I had a friend who was born in Columbia. He had grown up here, in the US. Gone to school, got his driver's license, went to work.

I found out that he wasn't naturalized. He nor his mother ever applied for citizenship.

I asked him why? Speaking for himself, he said that he was afraid the US might draft him and he would have

to serve in the military.

His older brother naturalized and joined the Air Force, by choice, not by a draft. We don't have that, anymore.

As did his sister.

His father remained in Columbia.

I knew him for about 22 years.

When he died of cancer, 12 years ago, his mother told me that I was the

best friend he ever had.

OP, the keyword is "Illegal" which distinguishes the immigrant/migrant/foreigner from "legal" status.

The problem with Illegal immigration, in the US, really, has nothing to do with where you are from but... "why" you are in the US.

The truth of the matter is, is that the Liberal Left Wing Democratic party, has been exploiting immigrants, especially those from south of the US border, for decades. People who genuinely want to be here and a positive part of the American society, will not hesitate to go through the process of obtaining legal citizenship.

However, there ARE those who want the benefits offered to them without contributing back into society.

And that's part of issue. The other part of the problem is drug smuggling and other nefarious illegal activities.

Truth be told, if a truckload of drugs can be smuggled across the border, so too, can weapons of mass destruction (aka NBC) be smuggled into the country. That's one of the primary principle problems with "open borders", which Hillary and the liberal Democratic party had promoted.

Another problem for any country is that of it's economic infrastructure. One key problem area for the US, is how US (actual paper) currency flows out of the country into the rest of the world. This is how it works - Migrants, primarily those from south of the border, come up to the US and find work and will send money back to their families. The intent is, clearly, understandable but the nation's economy, itself, needs to have that currency to operate within it's own borders. IF you (the nation) have to print more dollars because the paper currency is leaving the country, then.. you are, in, effect, devaluing the dollar. Truth be told, it is a problem.

Another problem is that of the labor force. IF the population of the labor force, increases, and exceeds the

demand for labor, then, labor wages go down. This is basically "Supply and Demand" economics.

When the demand goes up, the labor force can leverage an increase in their wage.

The United States is in deep trouble when it comes to the labor market and the lack of jobs due to factory exportation to China and to the illegal immigrant population, competing with LEGAL natural born/naturalized US citizens for employment.

When social programs, such as healthcare, which are overwhelmingly abused, are added to the mix, you have a powder keg and recipe for utter financial meltdown.

No nation can exist without borders and rule of law and people who respect both the borders and the rule of law. When those principles are violated, the nation is at risk for collapse and real chaos will ensue.

Make no mistake, the wall that Trump wants to build isn't about someone's skin color or nationality. It's about the maintenance of US economics and civility. - Nobody seems to get that. And that's what the smartest Liberals, in power, in particular, would not want anyone to know. Why? Because if you don't know that

your life is in danger, you cannot do anything about the threat against you.

Once people learn what psychological warfare really is and how big it is, and are able to overcome petty

things such as racism, xenophobias, etc which are keywords in the liberal propaganda machine, they

will suddenly see who the real enemy's army.

It's easy to call someone a label. What is hard, is for such name callers to rise above all the clamor

and see the Great Battlefield and implements of war and the real movers and shakers.

Seriously, of ignorance, it's nasty and it's deadly.
