My dad's on a business trip in America right now. He's about to go home but the timing of this is giving me anxiety. I know that if there's a problem he'd do that whole Asian way of not talking about it. And now I see all these stuff and he's still not calling. where there should be tons and tons of factual video evidence of
Asians being assaulted by Trump supporters, should be displayed.
As it turns out, Asians are NOT being "assaulted" by Trump supporters in any large number,
but by ANTI-TRUMP Protesters, which, no doubt, consists of members of the following:
Blacks
Hispanics (who condone and support "illegal" immigration, and "illegal" migrants)
Feminists
Homosexuals/sexually undecideds and sexually confused
Environmentalists
Most of whom have one thing in common - a) they are young b) college students c) outliers
People who, at the core, not only believe that wrong is right and right is wrong, but actually
believe that they are entitled to commit the crimes that they do and entitled to legal
immunity for their behavior.
In this present environment, though they protest Trump, they are also protesting the very
institution on which this country was founded upon and guaranteed by the constitution.
And the behavior being demonstrated, equates to treason.
There is a poison in the land and it's institutional lawlessness. It's not only here, but worldwide.
Anyway....

Don't worry. Your dad will be fine. The news blows things out of proportion for ratings. The chances of him stumbling across a riot are very slim unless he purposely heads that way and even then, he most likely wouldn't get injured.
And I can guarantee that nobody will assault him just for being Asian. Most of America is pretty safe. You really don't see people just getting attacked at random.
America is a very big country. Where abouts is he visiting?

Don't be worried. I live in Portland and the problem was limited to about 5 square miles (or just a few city blocks where the worst of it was).
I work about 3 miles from where the videos of destruction were filmed and you would never have known it happened unless you were a business owner there or in the protest crowd. The media makes it out to ne widespread but it's not..
If he's in a hotel at night or avoids being out in the main downtown area of Seattle, he's fine.
