Last night I was dreaming that I was going to get attacked by a raindeer. I know, it’s kind of funny. That’s why I’m curious to know which animal scares you the most?

I’m talking about dangerous/wild animals like bears, lions, gorillas, sharks, etc….

Which animal would you be scared to encounter face to face?

Most likely bears. Female bears will attack if you get too close to their babies and you can be standing one thousand feet away and you'll still get attack. And male bears because of their search for food. The male bears see us humans as food. Ironically their my favorite animals.

A dog, -It freaks me out that they can maul a person and kill them, and that the person can't escape it easily or stop it from happening. It happens often, with sometimes no indications at all.

Have no idea. I prefer to keep my distance from all of them (dangerous animals). Even from some that aren't considered dangerous - like a Donkey (some BITE - so i'd rather avoid petting them and such...). To each their own... 🤷‍♂️

Crocodiles. Their attacks on humans are not a case of mistaken identity, they along with Polar Bears, Tigers and I'm sure I'm missing a few, see humans as prey. Also, chimps. They're too much like us, and they frequently display some of our worst traits.

Some dog owners are so irresponsible as well. Their dog will run at you barking and they'll shout "don't worry, he's fine" 🙄

I was bitten by an Alsatian when I was a kid because it ran at me and I started running and it maybe thought I was playing but it bit me on the leg and drew blood. I ran into a building and was pretty traumatised and all the owners could say was "you shouldn't have ran! then he would have been fine" like it was my fault their dog attacked me!

It still makes me mad, I should have sued their asses but I was a kid and I just waited for them to go away before I went home

I'm sorry to hear that. It's so scary as a kid and you're right, people should keep their dogs on a damn leash. In the states a lot of new born babies get mauled because the parents leave the room quickly to do something and the dog tries to protect the child and grabs them by the head to carry them around.

It happens so often here. So sad.

If you dont want to watch, basically during ww2, the Japanese were forced to cross ramree island swamps. One thousand soldiers went in and only 484 made it out. Crocodiles ate nearly half of them.

I'd say crocodile, or alligator. Nothing is more scary then a giant reptile that wants to drown and eat you.

This

and sharks

Even though I have a fascination for both.

Sharks are more terrifying look wise, and also a superior predator imo. The only reason I didn't chose them is because sharks tend to no seek humans out as food. Majority of shark bites happen when a shark mistakes a human for a fish, which humans, or even land mammals in general aren't normally on its menu. I'm sure there are cases where hungry shark do devour whatever they can find though. At the same time you have to be in the ocean, or a waterway with enough salt to encounter a shark. Alligator/ crocodile on the other hand have no problem eating land mammals, including humans. Also the fact they can live so close to humans, and run on land makes me truly fear them. This is why I live where winter means those type of carnivores can't live lol. Though bear, and wolves are equally as terrifying. I find all animals beautiful though, and try to respect them and their homes if I'm in their territory.

Cheetahs, they are wiry like hyeanas and imüosing like grizzlys and lions, except they dont just hunt you down and run you over, they run besides the prey not behind them and then do a vertical jump. That must be more unnerving than just running away.

And I absolutely hate hippos, they look people who never use a toothbrush, they are not just huge they are leathery but the leather looks it was made in manure. you know like in mideaval times movies. They just look meanspirited.
