Wicca questions

Oh you can't just jump into being a Wiccan you have to ease into it. A couple failed marriages, a failed craft store or two then and only then you should embrace Wiccanism.

Shit just got weird

post of my day!

If you have any strange ideas about casting "spells", levitating and transmuting stuff Harry Potter style , or hexing people, then Wicca probably isn't for you. It also isn't about Satan or sacrificing virgin goats or mud puddle orgies.
Well, you could still do the orgy thing but that's all on you.

what is it about?

I use to run a site dedicating some materials for people interested in Paganism. If you are interested in Wicca and specifically Wicca understand it's a system of beliefs revised by a few followers of the 'old' pagan ways, given some text and what not created their own covenant and it took off from there.
In a nut shell. I guess I'm making it sound rather bad but it is what it is. Gregorian, Alexandrian and Gardnerian Wicca are all founded on the same roots. I think from memory Gregorian and Gardnerian focuses more on spirituality, what you give is what you get in return and the essence of community so the underlying principles are pretty universal. Alexandrian I believe focuses more on diety worship. Now you can even look into Eclectic Wicca which I guess more or less is taking the fundamental beliefs but not adhering to the essentials like joining a covenant, tools of divination so on and so forth.
Anyways that's just sorta an intro if you've never looked into it before. But with all Pagan Practices all I can say is we are the children of this earth, as the life flows through us so too does it flow through all that we can sense we trust in the elements: earth, air, fire and water and spirit thus our pentacles. Creators and Ascended alike, they watch over us and guide us in our ways.
And then the rest of my beliefs will branch off from Wicca but that's the gist of it.
