Nah-- you get it done professionally the first time.

You could even ask the stylist to recommend something for "touch-ups" in between visits.

Do it-- you will feel SO much better.

Note, I haven't had grey (yet), but blonde which is high maintenance (ugh)-- so you're gonna be fine. 🙂

And where is your pretty avatar?

I started to get mine at 19. I wasn't surprised. My dad started getting his at 19 too.

I held off on dying til 26. I gave up trying to keep up with plucking out all the greys. Since I've learned so much about dying hair (I do it myself), my hair is actually doing really well. I use a lot of counteractive measures though.

Argan oil = amazing.

Sally Beauty has an after color treatment. The second it touches your hair it turns it to silk. It's been a total lifesaver.

So fear not of the dying and it wreaking havoc on your hair. I know it's not the best thing in the world and I had the same fear which is why I held off. But if you take the right measures, it won't be all beat up and dry looking. I actually get a lot of compliments on my hair, haha.
