From 1970-1979. It's kind of a little series I'm doing on some of the worst aspects of trends in certain decades. I decided to start with the 1970's since I think the 70's in my mind had some of the worst trends out there. After this I'll move onto the 80's, then the 90's, and finally the 2000's considering that was recent and that was fresh in our minds. So for anyone who was born in the 70's or came of age in the 70's feel free to throw in your two cents on what you thought was a bad trend in that decade. Now (drum roll)

The Hair- Honestly fuck the hair style s. To me the hair was the worst thing besides disco and tbh I would probably go bald just from horridness of hair.. Fake ass jesus wannabe looking motherfucker: Image Not Found

Disco- Second worst thing about the 70's. My mom listened to a lot of disco music during her time of coming of age in the 70's. She was born in the 1957 and told me that literally around the block of every damn street in Greensboro was a disco club. She didn't hate it. But I could see why one person would hate it. My problem with disco was the studio 54 culture behind it. Simple as that. Man get the fuck outta here John Travolta, working long ass days and shoving half of Bolivia up your nose at night. Ergh I could barely stand the 70's: Image Not Found

Blaxploitation films- Okay lemme be clear about this. I don't hate, I love it like a new dog. But where there was 3 good blaxploitation films. There were 300 shitty ones that didn't get their point across. And also it just seemed a lot of them lacked a certain thing that would make them amazing. I don't what it is. But I'll find it just like I'll find a crystal skull. Not going lie, Foxy brown hot as hell. She can arrest me any day of the week and put me on some house arrest 😉 : Image Not Found

Cars- The quality of cars from this era sucked ass. Not going to lie. They did not care a lot about quality during this era and we got some really shitty cars (thanks a lot 1972 Dodge Charger). Maybe this is going by personal experience. But the quality was terrible I only had that car 3 weeks and the engine blew out. Brand spankin new. Engine blew out. Fuck Dodge: Image Not Found

To sum it all up. I don't really hate the 70's. It's not on my most hated eras list but it comes close. There were some good things to come from the era. But I can't name too many except for computers and skateboarding. any way lay down what you think were the worst aspects and trends of the 70's.

I have to say, the 70s in one Era that I wish I could experience. I love the hair, the afros, the guys with long hair, middle parts that's so cool. The Burt Reynolds mustaches ehh I could do without.

I love the fashion!

The cars look so cool what do you mean? Quality wise im not an expert but the looks are pretty nice.

The music!! I love classic rock bands early metal just love it. 70s disco and pop is so fun to listen to.. I mean i can imagine our grandkids will cringe at that EDM/Rave music people listen to nowadays. It's lame but its just people have a good time and letting loose. Idk disco was probably like that.

Feel like it was simpler to grow up. Parents now are like mega uptight and just over the top. No discipline, no freedom, kids don't respect adults, not even teachers.

Idk. Just my opinion. I haven't experienced it personally. But If i had the chance to I'd totally do it.
