I am absolutely looking forward to D9.

From what I gather, the story is pretty good with the sci-fi stuff actually kind of being in the background and not as much as a plot driver.

CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!

I'm definitely going to watch this movie. Aliens being held on Earth against their will and shady politics, what's not to like. And the number 9!

So now that you have seen it. What do you think about it—

Great movie! It wasn't Sci-Fi but politically oriented movie with so many messages within.

This time humans were the bad guys and the movie actually showed the ugly faces of the private corporations and NWO.


- They??ve landed in once —apartheid and racist community?? and then the same community even the —blacks?? became racist against the aliens.

- It showed how —mind control under propaganda via the mass media?? works perfectly for NWO agendas.

- It showed how multi-national corporations become almost as governments themselves. the attempted implementation of draconian population controls, the requirement to obtain all sorts of licenses and permits to conduct basic activities and the advocacy of the authorities taking children into protective custody for even the most absurd of reasons is actually already happening in real life today.

- The film was true resident evil without zombies.

- Christopher the main alien character states that he will return in 3 years. I don't know what year this (alien landing) is supposed to be set in —in this movie??, but if we assume that it is set in the —year 2009 which I'm guessing?? then basically it hit the year 2012, the year the aliens are expected to return to the Earth.


And so many other stuff??_ like I said, it was a politically oriented movie with absolute —warning signs?? all over it about the nasty and dark future we all are going to experience??_

omg, at this point i might as well just not even watch the movie.

i couldn't exactly figure out why they were stuck there. was it because they ran out of "juice"? 😛
and also, i hope that the sequel wouldn't turn into the standard "aliens come and attempt to annihilate the human race" crap.

yeah, i think that might be kinda-sorta what they were going for...but then, why'd they rip that guy into pieces? and why did that one kick wikus into the porta potty? that wasn't very nice. admittedly, wikus was a complete d-bag in the beginning, but it isn't nice to kick even d-bags that hard.

but then again, it would explain why they didn't use their MASSIVELY POWERFUL weapons to whip ppls' asses, like totally decimate everything. and the one that went into MNU with wikus was very upset by what he saw in the illegal experiments section, so upset that he almost died.

on the other hand, that prawn was diff from the other ones i think...smarter. or maybe the other ones just seemed dumber because they didn't show much prawn interaction in an intimate/personal way other than the main one, and a little of his friend.

but YET, it's also possible that the audience was *meant* to believe violence wasn't in their nature, if you catch my drift.
