Top five movies

Feel free to to post your top ten, if you'd like.
Since I watched most of those movies as an untrustworthy moronic teenager, I added the Rotten Tomatoe rating(first number is the general rating, the second is by top critics).

Evil Dead 2(98, 83) An awesome display of badassitude and humor. A must-watch for internet people(well, internet men, anyway).

El Partido Abrazo(85, 88) I'm...not sure why I like this one. I'm not the only one who felt like that, apparently: "It's a film of unexpected, almost indescribable off-center charm that deepens as it goes on." http://www.calendarlive.com/movies/reviews/cl-et-lost4feb04,1,896890.story>That's pretty much it. It's an exceptionally low-key movie, made by a director I can only assume is the anti-Bay. I loved it, but I'm not sure it'd resonate with gentiles.

Sweet Sixteen(98, 100) A grim tale of a 15 yo teenager's involvement in the British underworld. A great, highly rated English language film that no-one apparently watched. I've been on the internet for quite a while now, but I don't think I've ever even seen it mentioned. It's bizarre.

La Meglio Giovent?_(95, 92) A six hour long movie that documents the lives of two Italian brothers from 1963 to 2000. Thoroughly engrossing.

Grave of the Fireflies(90, n/a) A brother and a sister trying to get by in the aftermath of the Hiroshima(or was it Nagasaki?) bombing. As movies go, it's pretty sad. I've seen the anime, but there's also a live-action version you can track down if you're an old fart who doesn't like cartoons.

I tried to look for those in warez-bb.org(which basically had every other movie I looked for, and I looked for some obscure shit), and I could only find #2. Are you possibly getting your movies from an H.P. Lovecraft character?

Naked is a brilliant film, another good one from Mike Leigh is Bleak Moments.

Man, I always have a hard time answering this question. The answer is always a dynamic one that changes based on mood and theme.

i was going to put Return To Oz on my fave list but i figured nobody would know what it was! im STILL terrified of the wheelers!!!

The wheelers are scary as hell. But Princess Mombi is the scariest. She has changing heads!! Cabinets full of heads!

I have both soundtracks of Dazed and Confused! So good.

Oh shit, Troop Beverly Hills!!! hahaha I used to LOVE that movie, Ewe 🙂 🙂 Totally forgot about that. +1 on Selena, as well! I bought her album after watching that movie. Its probably one of my favorite soundtracks .
