Nope. I've heard good things about it, though.
Cool, what was your favorite bit? I loved the 'waltz'(from badass Ron Ben-Yishai up to the actual 'waltz') scene.
The one you linked to worked with vlc(just load it in the "subtitles track" in the video menu).
Glad to see you liked it.🙂
On other WwB related news, it's been recently nominated for an Oscar, and apparently stands a decent chance of winning. 🙂
Xun,
Could be, but quite a few people seem to think it'll win.

I've been meaning to watch this movie for over a year now, but only managed to get around to at it last night(mostly due to its win of the "best foreign language film" category at the globes).
It's a difficult piece, centered around the Sabra and Shatila massacres, though there wasn't really much build-up to it, I thought.
This movie is really just made of a few disjointed little stories of the war in Lebanon, each of them fascinating, I thought, but the structure of the movie doesn't really lend itself to as dramatic a conclusion as one would expect going into it. There's no single moment the main character finally "pieces it all together" on his own, no lightbulb moment. This can be a little disappointing for people who are used to Hollywood's way of telling a story.
I thought the animation was really, really good, though I can see how it wouldn't be to everyone's taste.
Overall, this became one of my favorite movies last night, with its grittiness, introspection, and style . Highly recommended.
