Drug Movies?

I enjoy "Blinded By The Light". It was used very appropriately in the movie "Blow" with Johnny Depp fairly recently. An excellent, excellent movie...anyone who hasn't seen it, should (unless the whole drug thing severly depresses you)...it's really one of the better movies I've seen in my lifetime.

That said.. I saw this movie and it was depressing. It was good, as in gritty and probably very realistic (it's a true story) but.. I wouldn't buy it. I wouldn't own it.. unless I was a Depp collector, for example.

Pink Floyd the Wall now.. that's a different animal.

lol... ok... I never was able to see the whole Wall movie, we were watching in at our anti prom bash... and then it was too late, or too early depending on how you look at it, and everyone else was not interested... So I only saw like the first twenty minutes... But I already know it's probably a movie I would buy, I am a pink floyd fan...

And I already said what I thought about Blow under the other topic.

lol I own the Wall (the one that no one but me wanted to see at 2am at Morgan's house) and I thought Blow was an awesome movie, but not one to own. I think its because if I watch it once, I don't really want to see it again all the way through. it's sort of like the Titanic in that way....lol who else can compared a movie about cocaine with the sinking of the Titanic?

i havn't seen the comic. but i saw the vam. on today yesterday. She's cool and looks good.

"Midnight Express" is also very good.. One time (single attempt) heroin smuggler caught exiting Turkey and sent to prison there. (Similiar to Papillion prison flick) Dreary, stark.. loss of hope.. and gritty. You don't want to be there.
