Spanglish question on ending

Can anyone tell me how this movie ends, does the cook go back to his wife and Paz moves on? Or do they all go into three seperate lives?

Do you agree this is what usually happens, nice guy stays with shallow demanding cookiemonster? How sad....why is that?

I think that you are right with the ending- Paz moves on and the cook goes back to his wife- crazy as she is- but I think that when Paz and the cook realized that they had a connection, they knew that it would never go anywhere- there were too many strings- his kids, her child- their whole way of life. I think that in life though, you can connect with people for a while or in a certain way, but that does not mean that you have to be with them or turn you life upside down- they were supposed to be in your life for a certain time and a reason. Though it seems rather dull that he goes back to his wife- it's relatively realistic- but one would hope they would figure out what was going on and get the crazy woman some help! LOL 🙂

Yea- from the previews I really thought it was going to be a great movie, but yea- kinda dissapointing 😢
