Okay, so I'm a big time music junkie & I like to bond with people over music. Plus, I'm always on the hunt for new bands to listen to.

My Top 10

10. Flyleaf

There's a debate on whether or not this a Christian band. I've never heard of any of the bands saying whether they were or not, although I can see how some of their songs can be interpreted as such. Regardless, I love the deep lyrics and the lead singer's voice. Favorite song is "Sorrow".

09. Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I love this band so much! I like how their songs sometimes sound like soft rock, grunge or funk rock like Sublime. Favorite song is "Other Side".

08. Sublime

Need I say much? Good stoner music & hilarious. My favorite song is the whole "40oz To Freedom" album

07. Coheed And Cambria

This band isn't that mainstream, but they still have made a name for themselves. Coheed is kind of an acquired taste. The lead singer sounds female and the lyrics are random unless you've read The Amory Wars. Yep, they writes stories & then write songs based off the stories. I find this band pretty unique & intriguing. Favorite song "Delirium Trigger".

06. Lacuna Coil

What can I say? Completely unique sound here. I've recently discovered this band & instantly fell in love with it. All of them thus far. I'm anticipating their new album "Broken Crown Halo".

05. Bring Me The Horizon

What can I say? I love modern scream...sue me. lol. Favorite song "House of Wolves"

04. Otep

Otep is an experimental/A.D.D core metal band with a female singer who is openly lesbian & a fierce animal rights activist which made me fall head over heels for this band. It never stops amazing me that a woman does those gutturals. I like the fact that I can actually make out what is being said in the songs (unlike a lot of metal bands) and the lyrics are quite clever. Fun Fact: Otep is an anagram for poet and also happens to be lead singer's name. Yes, there's a woman out there named "Otep". Favorite song: "Rise Rebel Resist"

03. Led Zeppelin

Doesn't need much of an explanation. This band actually deserves every ounce of its popularity & praise. I find a lot of Led Zep songs to be relaxing, intelligent & inspiring. Favorite song "Kashmir".

02. Tool

This band will take your mind places.

&&&&& finally *drum roll*

01. A Perfect Circle

Absolutely Flawless. Profound, intellectual, clever, relaxing, deep. Maynard Keenan's cover of "Imagine" is better than the original by The Beat
