Pisces ex apologizes for not wishing me a happy birthday

He broke up with me after 3 months because it "wasn't the right time for a relationship" after I complain about only seeing him every 2 weeks since school started. Whines to mutual friends about it, plays victim, doesn't wish me a happy birthday but watched my updates on social media. Then a week later, he texts me a month of no contact saying he's sorry for not wishing me a happy birthday. Why would he do this? I'm so confused and lost. Why reach out to apologize after a week has passed. What's the point

As a Pisces man we have a lof of brain storming going on in our head so sometimes we tend to forget things at times but once we gain clarity of things of we will do this, thst and the third then we get back to the things that we missed put on. Which in this case the Pisces dude texted you for that reason.

That is understandable but I'm definitely sure he didn't forget because I was posting about it and it was showing me that he was watching my updates. Our mutual friends even came out to celebrate with me so he definitely knew. He deliberately chose not to reach out until a week after so Im just curious what made him change his mind

He's a peice of shit loser fuck boy who doesn't know how to treat people, cut him off immeadiately and move on to bigger and better
