but...now he seems to be swimming in the deep waters.

Several shared meetings with a nice connection through conversation on philosophy, authors, movies, and politics was experienced. There appeared to be an obvious mutual attraction. It was dreamy. From learning that he recently broke with a gf of one year and was busy saving the world, I gave him space. Initially, he was responsive from my contact though non committal to meet, and now he has gone completely cold.

His lack of response shows no interest. However, from my perspective it seemed like such a beautiful rare connection that it would be a waste not to pursue. Perhaps, he met another or is entertaining his ex, or my perceived connection was only one sided. I can't help but contemplate some other grand gesture that may provoke a reaction to at least meet, despite my last two contacts made no impact. The contact was sweet, and included an invitation to a celebratory coffee or drink in honor of his recent triumph.

Two of my friends thought he was probably scared or hesitant to initiate.

Everything that i've read on Pisces seems a bit contradictory.

I don't know, but i thought it may be fun to get some input from other pisces who would have the greater familiarity and understanding or from those with an experience with one.

Any pisces care to comment or one with experience?

I'm not trying to burst bubbles with kittens inside - I'm just saying sometimes timing has a lot to do with whether a connection will actually go anywhere. And to me a few months out of a breakup is just going to be a messy start of something else. If he's being unresponsive, that is why I say it seems the timing might be off - if you are correct about the connection being there on both sides. Plain and simple he might not be ready to get into anything no matter what the connection.

My moon is in pisces and i seem to relate well to them. However, i'm generally never undecided and if feel something rare i want to pursue. Obviously, i can't predict the outcome but i like to put forth the effort when i'm moved.

I agree... and one can only conclude if the effort isn't put forth, the person isn't moved. For whatever reason. Happens all the time.

Do you not know his birthdate?

I would initially say to leave it alone.. If someone likes you enough they will come to you when they're ready,, I could have taken this advice before though, myself. I used to conjure up little sneaky plans to text or leave FB posts to put myself in the mans mind or to suggest a hang out.. Probably making an ass of myself in the end. Had I just left it up to him (even if he didn't contact) I would have looked like less the ass :p it's so hard though to back off when you have a smokin hot (and sweet) guy on your hands..

On the other hand, there are guys who pursue me that I have tried to give the hint that I am not interested, but as they keep pushing to talk to me over months and even years I eventually open up as a friend to them and am willing to be more communicative. I don't ever see myself with these guys, ever. But I guess who knows. I also have never dated a guy I had a lengthy friendship with before hand, so I suppose that's very possible. So.. I'm saying you could pursue to no end and bug him until he eventually opens up lol. But, I don't think that is the most ideal advice. I think that men enjoy chasing so, you may just chase him off.

haha ^^^^^ yah, i did a bit of a pursuit dance, but not that flamboyant. 😉

Piscesposterboy, your insight could in fact be quite on target, however, i didn't receive it before it was totally apparant that i was interested in him and furthermore, though i can be a bit coy initially most see right through that. therefore, hiding my interest or expression of interest somehow doesn't agree with me. perhaps, venus in aries ( if he is) than is not meant to be a successful conquest or match. 🙂
