most of you are probably to young to care,culturally I think it's great,theres's so much bad newsin the world. And music very unexciting right now (witness the latest grammy nominations)

I'm just really pissed I couldn't be there! However...news is they're doing a world next year. I don't care where I have to fly, or how much I have to spend, I will be at one of those shows! 😉

Yeah, Jimmy's a Cappie. In that vid I posted, he's not looking so good. Getting old sucks! He was such a SCORCHER when he was young. 😢

December gave birth to some real artistic genius. Jim Morrison was a Sag...and Elvis was a Cappie. He might have been born in Jan, though. I can't remember.

Next best thing to actually being there: and what's said to be the *Holy Grail" of dvd music compilations/Led Zeppelin (2003) almost 4 hours (2 discs) of concert footage plus! ..painstakingly restored/remixed/remastered in Dolby 5.1 Surround, and DTS, from long forgotten vaults. This was a real labor of love from Page! Check it out, it's everything and more! 'AMAZINGGG!'

LOL! *Falling to a knee, holding my heart! If there ever was one band on earth who did it 'straight' from the heart, it was Led Zep from day one, to present. Much like what Mick Jagger had said. "We don't NEED the money, we do it because we love it. You couldn't go that far or be that talented, running on greed alone. The fans are too smart for that.

The Spice Girls should be spayed so they can't breed.

It is also sacreligious to include them in the same thread as Led Zep. 😛

TLC were a great female group! One of the biggest selling female artists of all time. Their talent spanned R&B, hip hop and pop. Great lyrics/vocals and slick videos. Have all their cd's. Really too bad about 'Left Eye though ..

i watched her long self-documentary; was very bitter-sweet.

I fail to see the connection between the Spice Girls and Led Zeppelin on this thread I know I'm old but Pleeeeeeeze whom will music history remember as a great rock musician John Paul Jones or Scarey Spice !

I also love Tea For One off the Presence album and Ocean I love one of Robert Plant's first solo songs I think it;s called Big Log very mysterious song interesting video. In my opinion only group that's ever even breathed some of the same air as Zep is Soundgarden. Chris Cornell and Kim Thayill were laying down the hammer for a minute there. Miss those guys.

Love Soundgarden/Chris Cornell -what great vocal range, another 4 octave wonder. When he goes into High C, he sounds alot like Plant.

(Cornell also did an awesome job with the 'Casino Royale' -007 theme song. *You Know My Name* Imo, the coolest one to date.)
