Is this a common pisces trait?

My brothers friend was mentioning how when they were working today. There was a traffic accident like across the street and even though there it seemed to grab everyone elses attention - he was smoking a cigarette right next to him as it happened and he was oblivious to the entire thing! LOL 🙂 It made me realize that my pisces has a tendency to do this from time to time as well! Like he was just in his own world or something 😛 I just thought I'd mention it cause it seems to be an interesting trait - knowing you guys are known to be dreamers 😛 I mean to be standing next to someone and having them not notice something like that - lol - he didn't even flinch or nothing - just kept on smoking - kinda reminds of Bruce willis in 'Live free or Die Hard' when he'll just like do some crazy stunt and isn't even phased by it. I was just wondering if this is a known piscean trait or just a really interesting coincidence? Thanks for any replies in advance!

Not for me .. I'm very aware of everything around me, observe things that other people wouldn't notice .. like if someone crosses the street while shifting their gaze behind them (I'll look to see if someone is following them), or if a person is talking in a tone that is in opposition with what they are saying (I'll listen closer to see if there is a hidden message), if a plane is passing overhead (it's registered within my mind whether it's a normal flight path).

Maybe other Pisces will confirm that it's normal for them to be oblivious .. however, I can't relate to that. I'll even stop short in a conversation if it appears to me that the person is only half listening/distracted, even if they keep full focus with their eyes .. I can register that they're not paying attention.

This sounds like because there wasn't an expected reaction, then it means that it wasn't noticed .. which may not be accurate. There have been many times in my life that I had no "normal" reaction in terms of how other people react/respond .. yet, later, throw somebody off kilter by relaying verbatim the specifics of the situation.

some pisceans are not easily shaken by incidents like this my friend...sometimes i cry at a snuggle bear commercial and other times i see a 10 car pile up on the interstate and go WTF im late for my date...

bruce willis is one of the most badass pisces ive ever seen, while we are talking about him lol...

Maybe he's just tired of hearing your stories of how guys want your attention .. or didn't want to talk about you being annoyed.

Diversion isn't ignorance of the perception, rather, ignorance of the interest.

He hears you, I'm sure .. most Pisces picks up on everything around them. For this reason is WHY he asked about the ice cream.

Once a person learns to live outside of themselves is when they actually start to live. If you are full of stories about yourself, to which he is uninterested in hearing about .. then he's aware that you're only living inside yourself .. hence: not truly living.

It's complicated .. you'd have to be a Pisces to understand that. 🙂

I am ussually aware of what is happening arround, but dont expect some reaction, mainly if it is an car accident, what you can do? whats about all ppl coming arround? the injuries need space, the police and doctors need to access the place. And the most important thing this doesnt mean stop your life, he was enjoying his smoke.

Well others may say I am a brick wall, and I usually I dont give nothing to a beggar. But I dont look their eyes either.

Wow....well this explains a lot! On another note I realize he pays attention to detail in many aspects - his clothes esp. If he doesn't match - he won't wear an outfit - that's apparently one thing he's well known for among his friends. Also in music - his favorite band is Dreamtheatre because the intensity of the drummers beats and the guitar riffs. He pays a lot of attention to that kinda stuff. My pisces on the other hand - is influenced by the cap rising so she's also very logical like myself - but always analyzing every detail and situation. But surprisingly - no matter how intense her mind may be thinking - she always knew just the right moment to scare the crap outta me when I least expected it! What a beautiful balance that must be. To live with a scattered mentality and yet still manage to maintain a system of logic and intellect and order all @ the same time. I always told her I've certainly met my match. She never ceases to amaze me. What an amazing sign you fishies are 🙂

Yes that is right with me too, I like every music that is intense, to make you dance or tremble in a good way or not. I was writing again here at this great forum, and the reason !!! I just discovered.... was because some new itense musics I am listening for two hours now!!!!!

Reacting is outward, absorbing is inwards, I'd rater take it all in, so sometimes I don't react. I guess it a Picean thing, not really thought about it.

Or look at it as an opportunity to change career direction and try something new.

I admit I won't usually react unless I can actually 'do' anything, otherwise I am just wasting energy that I may need elsewhere. But I will still take in the information and catalog it for further use. Really depends on the situation and how effective I can be to the situation.

I know - that's why I used him as a relative example. They say actors/actresses personalities come out in the movies they're in. He definately reminds me of my brother. One of my supervisors is a Pisces too. We call him the bulldog because he's a pretty big guy but he doesn't budge even if he is provoked (unless its by one of his bosses of course - but even with them he'll still speak his mind about how he feels even no matter what any of them think. He's brutally blunt and too the point. Very organized in a business sense but not so much in other aspects. An all around great person - and much like my Bruce Willis, my brother every others pisces I've known - a hilarious sense of humor too!)
