Illusional vs Delusional

I know illusional is not a word but healing myself this week by separating made me realize my responsibility in my current situation.
Delusional: the story you tell yourself based on your needs. I mean sometimes we tell ourselves things and look for people and situations to make it real. Example, I need a car so I buy a bike and say it will work just as well.

Illusional: is essentially making what appear real more relevant than it actually is. I buy a car and not inspect it because I just needed a car.


I'm posting this on the Pisces forum because as a fishie I think we have the ability to make our illusions so real. We're romantic and idealistic. It's easy to escape to what is easy. Last night I posted a response to someone else's post that could have easily been mine on the Scorpio board.
The post was:
If someone is brave enough to say you are not a match and they don't want to hurt you they're not looking for permission. They're looking for release.
Your pushing yourself on them to be and do something they don't fully want to participate in is toxic and abusive.

Taking a step back is so hard but perspective is really good.
Ok, I'm done rambling. Just thought I'd share. I told you guys I'd have a bunch of posts....œ

Exactly. I have a "take no prisoners" attitude in regards to romance. Basically, if you don't WANT to tie yourself to me...I release you with awesome intention and no malice or harm done. I've always thought of rejection as life's way of making sure that you are freed up to receive what is truly for you. In regards to illusions, I totally agree about how we seem to manifest what we WANT to see. It's weird how that can last for a very long time...in my experience. It's not until others are tired of the illusion and need to get back to reality that things fall apart or rather in place. Sometimes an illusion is necessary until you "get there". It's more like a vision or dream to me. it just takes finding people who see the same vision as I do to keep the illusion going until it does become a reality.
