Closure is the greatest gift never received.

Thankfully I received mine today.
The Scorpio called me this morning and finally told me he never saw us happening long term. Even after growing, he didn't see a future. He did mention an old flame reaching out to him and She's been pursuing him. I was furious because the last time we were together was just before his two week vacation when he said he could see how I make him happy. He kept saying how good a woman I am and how I deserve a lot. I told him it was shitty to start with someone before ending with someone else.

Armed with this I'm able to lose hope for this connection and start to heal. He admits he was intimidated by me from the beginning. I make a lot of money and he always talked about how smart I was. He said he didn't see how we'd work long term and despite his feelings for me, he couldn't do it.
For the next 3 weeks I'm just going to focus on projects at work and unpacking my new house. I see myself steping out of the dating pool for the rest of the year.

Sometimes things need to fall away so to make room for something better to come along. Keep your chin up girl and take this time to focus on you and the things that make you happy like your new home. :-)

Congrats! Most Scorps are better suited for weaker women anyways. Alot of the Scorp men I KNEW couldn't handle my intelligence or independent ways either.

More or less, most men are assholes when it comes to the money thing regardless. If he makes more, he likes to control the purse strings and use finances as a weapon or as a means of making sure that she knows who is in control. If he makes less then he uses money as the reason why she thinks that she's better than him. Most women are inherently better than men (cleaner, more orderly, act more appropriately) anyways.

Livictori...so sorry that this happened to you. Better now than later. You know? Now, you can move on and do you. I think you'll find your smile and your feet a lot faster than you anticipated. I'd put money on it.

I can't plead total ignorance. I knew money was an issue for him. I tried to ignore it. Nothing bothered me more than him talking to someone else. We had plans. Even for this weekend. He's an ass

During out break up today I told him that his "financial difficulties" bruised his ego as a man. He can't protect or provide so he's spreading himself in some false sense of masculinity. Men; SCORPIO men want to lavish and spoil women. His not being able to have the upper hand means he could have never controlled me. That's why the whole intimidation thing came up. How can you sheild someone in a better position.
