He contacted me out the blue after a few months for light chit chat a few times over the course of a week, then one night he texted me at almost 12am (drunktext?) Asking if I had slept with anyone?

Because he is the type of pig that preys on women with strict values/traditions, coerces (or forces) them to do other wise, and then leaves; feeling victorious in successfully using a woman's body as weapon against her to inflict emotional trauma. It would also be a supreme ego boost for him as only the lowest of the low PREY on virgin women who have admitted to not wanting sex.

That is his only desire. He is an abuser. And you, being a virgin are sadly a target for his abuse.

You'd be a fool to entertain keeping him in your life. If your decision to abstain from sex is based in religion, you have alot more to lose than him. If he seems persistent he might try to rape you.
