Letting go

Hi All,

So I am currently in a situation that is pretty confusing. So a bit of backstory:

I was seeing this Scorpio (Sag Moon/Venus), and things ended pretty recently. So basically, we were seeing each other for 5 months, suddenly he ended things after showing vulnerability, I guess he closed up. So he told me he wanted to be friends, I was okay with it. However, the times that we hung out, we ended up getting into pretty bad arguments. The last argument we had (Friday) was mostly because we were hanging out and then I asked him what changed between us? Mostly because we had unfinished business and havent really talked about what happened., he told me that he was already seeing someone else and that I have to move on and said some more messed up stuff. Then he started to text me normally all over again later that night, but by that point I was just over it. So I was being short with him. So, then I decided to take space because I told him that I am gonna need time to move forward with this now that he made it clear that there was nothing in store for us than being just friends but he keeps texting me on social media and text all normally even though I don't respond.

So question: what do y'all think this Scorp is doing? I am currently a confused fish right now. I know for sure I want to be friends but I just need space. But he isn't getting the hint and I don't feel the need to tell him that I need space.

I think he is playing games with you, or this is just his way of being friends.

Telling you to move on, but when you move on, he won't let you go, that seems very immature to me.

Just take your time, and take all the space you need to get through this.

Did you tell him to contact you less? He might not understand that you needing space means him texting less/not.

Yeah it kinda seems like he doesnt want to let me go or that he doesnt want me to move on to be in control. But yeah I definitely am, like even though 5 months wasnt very long I felt a very deep and strong connection. It was my first time talking to a Scorpio and the connection is very different, so its interesting how much of a hard time I am having to let this go.

But I didnt tell him to contact me less, but I think I am. So far today he texted me and I responded but then I ended the conversation abruptly with "have a good lunch"

Cut him off. Don't waste your time. He'll come back around.
