It's nice for you that you have a person who you consider so special to you .... but, I'm still reeling from the whole graveside fiasco that has been deluding you for 17 years now and running. You're a very nice person, but, seriously in need of finding the reality about that situation.
Once a Fish has connected to another, we become infused with you and will indeed let you lay bare without fear of exposure or ridicule .... so, I know exactly what you are saying here. But, I also would like for you to share with her this situation you have in your life that has completely put you in denial.

I've known her since were in elementary school.. We didn't stay in touch through out all our high school years but we reconnected like 6yrs ago and we have just the best relationship. We can be absolutely and 100% open and honest about who we are and the things we go through.
I text her today, after we randomly met for coffee this morning.. I just had to tell her how much I appreciate the fact she doesn't judge me.. I've had a lot of stuff happening in my personal life and she allows me to disclose all of it without judgement. I only share stuff with literally 3 people, my bff, her and my mom.. I just wanted to express the wonderful and much appreciated friendship I have with her... We can both show our vulnerable and silly sides, plus, she cracks me up endlessly. We laugh so much, I need all the laughter I can get... 🙂
We had dinner just two weekends ago with our other friend the Taurus/Taurus and we all left just with our cheeks hurting from laughing and sharing funny stories. I feel like everyone needs a friendship like this in their life.
It's nice to feel understood and cared for unconditionally. *tear* lol

It is really nice having a friendship that is not based off of fear and can be as open as you need to be. I think that those kind of once in a life time friendship really give your the opportunity of seeing pure love as we all need to experience that. There are a lot of people who experience friendship of manipulating, nastiness, control and jealous very one sided so cherish it as long as it last and always remember it so that you won't settle in friendships down the line.
