Yes, there are always some parts of my book that stay closed. Like I said above, it's not even that our secrets are so bad or shocking, it's just that I feel too vulnerable for anyone to know everything about me. I guess kind of like a Scorpio, we feel like someone who knows everything about us has a little too much 'power' over us and can use it against us if they choose. We don't trust easily. And even with those we might trust our life with, we still will don't share every little thing with them either. Maybe that's just me, but it's my Pisces perspective anyway.click to expand

Yes, I do indeed have secrets that I would NEVER tell to another living soul and I pray that I take them to the grave (and they aren't somehow discovered afterwords lol). Sometimes, it's because people wouldn't understand. Others, because I don't want to feel vulnerable and possibly allow someone to have that much 'power' over me, as aPP eloquently put it 😄 And lastly, sometimes, because I just LIKE having secrets. I don't know what it is. I say that I wish I could tell everyone and make them understand what I am going through, but deep down I don't. I like the air of mystery I give off perhaps. 😛
And yes, even if I was madly in love (or is it obsession? I can never remember lol), which I am from time to time, I would never spill all the beans. Maybe, just maybe, I would give them one or two secrets to sate their appetite, but never my dark secrets that I even try to hide from myself. lol
Every single Pisces I know has secrets. Not that they have ever told me any of them. I can just 'feel' it. Hurray for possible psychic abilities? 😛
PlanetMercury - I do believe that we Pisceans (and even most people, actually) have secrets that would be completely shocking to a person if we told them. I know I have a few BIG secrets that nobody could ever guess. 😛

^Exactly 🙂 The answer to any question that is thrown at me is so much deeper than words can describe so I don't even bother most of the time. Someone might ask. "How do you feel today?" Or the classic "What's wrong?" I don't even bother answering or I just give a simple, "I feel fine" or "Nothing is wrong." And yes, if one plays all ones cards and lets all their secrets and mysteries known, its not much of a game anymore. And the game is what keeps you interested in the other person....

Also, I am a very private person. All Pisces are. There is such a dichotomy, because on the one hand, I long for someone to really know me, but I also love keeping that air of mystery about myself. And when someone seems to be able to read me (this is rare however), I dont like it at all.

Yea, I do agree. Esoteric? Yes. My pond is covered by an eternal dusk, with only the moon to light it's surface. The water is a beautiful shade of dark blue, almost appearing black. Around the edge of the pond lies a circle of Evergreens. There is no wind at my pond and the waters are eternally smooth and calm with a slight mist to the area. Underneath its surface, lies mystery, secret, and the unknown. What dwells in this pond? Be it Mermaids? Sea-Serpents? A gateway into another realm? Nobody will ever know. 🙂

Im sure that, that can be common with any sign but I've heard that come from a few pisces lips. Yes, but even without SECRETS we do keep a lot of ourselves to ourselves. That's the whole concept of being an individual -- and even more so a Pisces, I guess. Just saying, secret is a big word. It means you are HIDING something.
Blackmail or not, if you've decided to be with me then I expect 100% honesty - especially about things you DON'T wanna tell me. After all, you want me to be with the WHOLE YOU and not the YOU that you want others to believe that you are?

There is definetly a difference. The pisces men that I know are very expressive and romantic. There has to be validation, at least with the ones that I know. They don't just go all over the place displaying emotions with everybody they come into contact with.
I am only expressive with those I trust and love. Most male pisceans have difficulty expressing themselves becaUse we are raised in a society that tells u that women have emotions and men are strong. And our inner personalities are in direct conflict with that. Our deepest self is feminine. I can admit that. Most won't though. U know how they say that female scorpios secretly wish they were men, deep down, (and none of us will admit it) male pisceans wish we were women. Life would be so much easier for us if we could just express ourselves without being judged by society. So we normally act emotionless, because we want to please society as a whole. 😢

Before I got into astrology, I was in bit of a depression. I thought constantly throughout the day, "Why do I act so different around people? Why am I not consistant like others? Who am I? Which one of these personas is the real 'me'?" But then I learned what it meant to be a Pisces, and it kind of explained it all lol 😄

I give my heart more easily than my secrets because I doubt most others would except my indiscretions. While I can understand what led me to act/behave in a certain way, I doubt signs that are more in control of themselves, i.e. earth signs, would understand my actions. My cardinal urges will always be my downfall.

The idea is to appear that you're calm but I can see that you're probably thinking deeply in your head. Every now and then you'll say something or laugh. Thats exactly it. 🙂 Most people think me shallow because I am calm. But thats not the case at all. Everything I do. Everything. Has depth to it. Everything has reason (believe it or not lol). It's just that people don't see it because they don't see the whole picture or try to.
And yes, in group situations, every now and then I'll say something or laugh. Just to act like I'm actually there when in reality I'm thinking about something completely different. I'm suprised people can't tell though. My eyes glaze over all the time in converstation. lol. Unless I really, really, like the person I'm talking to, chances are I'm just going to zone out and act like I'm listening if they're talking about something that doesn't catch my attention. 🙂click to expand

Yes and thank you. You answered my question in the way that I was trying to ask, if that makes sense, LoL. Pisces don't like people to have too much power over them because they can feel vulnerable. That's it. I know other signs that when they find a soulmate, they tell it all to them.

Right, because I know that I get kind of scared off when someone tells me TOO many deep secrets without me having done the same. I will listen and be that ear for someone but I won't "make" them tell me anything just because I want to ask. It's complicated.
