I am wondering if my fellow pisces go by gut on trusting other ppl? There is a lady @ my wk my gem boss whom I simply do not trust. I feel like I am being watched n threatened by loosing my job. I quit today based on pure gut.I of course have anothe gig lined up but some how I just new we wld not wk well together. She is controlling and I feel like she is flighty. She admits to taking meds for moods and her openess about her own personal relations is creepy being she is the boss. Her lack of professionalism is a bit disturbing being she just started there. I know it seemed rash but my feeling is get out before being pushed out. I hate wkin in a place where I fear loosing my job.

Some how I just knew to bail.

I would have done the same thing. I know I'm going to get fried by writing this, but I have a serious problem working directly for women. I find that if a female in a position of power is having a bad day or personal problems she will not hesitate to take it out on everyone in her path; a man on the other hand will simply lock himself away in his office and sulk-again my own experience. I worked for a woman once and it was horrible, I worked mostly with men and it was great. I currently work for a woman who has her emotions in check and we get along great-BUT, I almost didnt take the job because my mothers co-woker at the time who is a complete nut job said she knew her-I'm a firm believer in "birds of a feather" we later found out she just "knew of her" but if they had been friends I would have not accepted the position. I hate tension in the work place, I spend too many hours working to not be at peace.

"There were already other deciding factors but This really pushed me over the edge."

Well, that's a biggie all by itself. I have to work with people I don't trust sometimes but usually at the same level. If it's your superior, that's the worst because they pretty much hold your fate in their hands when it comes to your job. From what you said about the meds and her behavior...I agree. Completely unprofessional - I would have left skid marks.

That is exactly what my pisces male friend told me. I am sure I have not over reacted I have been in a similar situation and waited to see if it wld get better only to find that I was given a pink slip. In this day an age when there are More employees than jobs I notice that more and more employers don't give a eff about employees. I liked the job and did well until new boss came along. I knew we wld not make a good wkin team.

"But I have come to find out that not all darling fishies are quite the same when it comes to Scorps...a little disheartening really."

*whisper* DXPLand is not *exactly* an accurate portrait of RL. 🙂

What the hell do men know about intuition...except how to ignore it completely? I've noticed even water men, who have a stronger awareness of it, tend to disregard it in favor of what their head is telling them..even if it's the exact opposite of their gut feeling. 😛

Anytime I have ignored my intuition, it has ended disastrously, so I learned pretty quickly to always listen. Like you did. 😉
