Birth Charts and SO's

Do you think its fair that we look at our significant other's birth charts for clues into their personality, while they don't look at ours?

Has anyone every told their significant other that you pulled theirs? Has anyone ever volunteered their birth chart to their SO?

Do you talk about astrology to your SO?

Just curious to what everyone's thoughts are. I'm not planning on doing anything, just curious.

Do you talk about astrology to your SO? ~~~~ Nope. I dont think he's interested in Astrology.

I talked to him a little bit about astrology. He said I'm an Aquarius. I said, Oh, the rebel. He wanted to know what else it said. I told him the general aqua stuff. He said I can see that. Then he wanted to know what it said about me. I gave him a general. He said his sister used to be into that stuff. That's about it. He didn't seem all that interested.

I do use astrology for references about why a certain person may act. I just started astrology. Sometimes I use our birthdays in cafe astrology. If I never met that sign before, or even if I do know about the sign but different birthdays. Not everyone is the same.

I do it for fun.

If it's a female that's different. Because women sometimes don't get along with each other. But when we do it's like the vibes are vibrant and fun. Or wanna know why we click.

My current friendship in women are. Libra, Cancer, and Aquarius. for some reason Virgos too. But could be more out there but I am very quiet and don't search. It comes without any work. Free flowing connections.

I really can't remember if a guy ever ask me my sign. Lol but I always ask them some way or another.

I have a friend that's an Aries male and I was trying to figure it out. Being all slick he wouldn't tell me when I ask when's your birthday. But did tell me his age.

Haha. Few weeks later he finally told me his sign and really it wasn't what I expected. The way he acts and forgets what we talk about reminded me of a Gemini not an Aries. Finally we both squeezed in our signs some how.

I briefly told him my birthday is one year and 12 days apart from his. He's older by one year and 12 days. Compatibility probably or probably not since he's third Aries decan and I am first Taurus decan... Lol and he asked what I was.

I swear he still acts like a gemini. Come to find out he has Gemini in Venus, and Taurus in moon. Lol its no wonder we are still friends, and he's fun to talk to, but is slow and steady. I am always peeping his views all the time. Which I have Taurus in Venus and Aquarius in moon... Its weird. Totally.

Yes and Yes. Poor Aries was under the impression he was a Pisces when we met lol. I was showing him his chart and he found it interesting so we looked over various charts of his exes. At some point he dated a string of Gemini Women who cheated..and I remember 3 out of 4 or 3 out of 5 had an Aries Moon.

The Aries : "Wait, don't you have an Aries Moon too?"
Me: "Let's talk about something else"

Yup and all my friends. I have converted their souls to the true path of astrology lol.

He's dating a Pisces now so we're talking about aspects in her chart.

What have I doneeee.

It's a fun topic and people get really curious about it. I know I was when I discovered charts. I only knew my Sun Sign when I was with the Cap and it was him who told me one day "Hey I'm a Capricorn, you're a Virgo. It says here we're Earth signs and we get along". "Cool, dude"

Fair? What is not fair? That we use all means to know everything about our SO, while he can't be bothered...🙂?

I tried to introduce my SO to astrology, by emailing him info about his Gem sun, Aries moon and Cap rising. He has admitted some similarities with the Cap rising description, especially his drive to achieve goals. Then I bought him that expensive "psychological horoscope by Liz Green" on astro.com. He thanked and asked me if that's the only horoscope I've purchased. Pleased that he asked, I said yes and emailed him my own Liz Green variant.

Later on it turned out that he didn't read any of them, and still despises astrology.

Yeah, I have to stop mentioning astrology to the Gem.

Last time he was complaining about his 13 year old son who eats too much, is a bit overweight, lazy to play sports and needs to be pushed to take on any new activity. I was like: well, he's a Taurus, these are to be expected.

Um...no. He was expecting that his son was like him.

there's so many articles and links out there just on sun sign alone, but if he ain't gonna commit, he ain't gonna. You can't make any guy do that.

Well i'm guessing there ARE some......who are easily persuaded. lol those types are the ones who fall in love easily.

i'm glad i never did astrology with my ex's and current.

there's something about "expectations" ....
about certain placements...

Is it fair? Sure. Not everyone believes or are interested in astrology, so it's not like they'd think looking up charts would give us an edge. The only thing not fair to them may be, to those who don't like/like certain signs, the biases that come from looking up charts and seeing the placements.

Yeah, I told my SO. This was before we were dating and I asked if I could pull up his chart because I was interested. He thought it was cute because that was a sign to him that I was interested in him and wanted to know more.

I talk to him about astrology, but I feel as though I've exhausted the topics I can talk about without having a reciprocal conversation. He thinks astrology is neat but doesn't understand it and isn't in to it enough to learn, himself.

I ask a lot of people to pull their birth charts and they're all very interested in what is has to say about them. It's interesting that it's something people don't want to get in to but become very interested in when it's about them.

I pull everyone's chart cause I've always been a nosey frigger. I don't take what I read to seriously because well if I like you I like you that's it regardless if we fight, drift apart etc.

My current SO knows a little about it and just always says he stays away from Geminis. He don't mind.

Of course though I now have a tattoo of my numerology numbers on me so I'm honest about it.

I have looked up my Cap/Aqua's birthchart. Needed to know his birthtime and place so I just asked. He can ask to see mine but I don't think he knows enough about astrology to 🙂

Here's the interesting part, he said he was born at a certain time, I pulled the chart and it said he was Libra Rising. I thought...ok..astrology may be bull. He is not like a Libra Rising. A month or so goes by and I said one night, "are you sure you were born at that time?". He says "no, that was a mistake my brother told me I was born at such and such". Pulled it and he's a Scorpio Rising. Yes, that is right on. Actually his chart is pretty much bang on. Scary.

I do talk about it with him...haha, he teases me but tolerates it 🙂 I couldn't care less.
