Do break ups during mercury retrograde usually last, I don't see this coming and I'm hoping he will come back to me he just wants to be friends even though this breaks my heart should I give some space to him and back off till this is over?

Even with 2 Aquarius in an relationship what about new year still avoid contact? Or wait till mercury turns direct, I know I'm friends with nearly all my ex's, but this aqua I'm going to struggle with this I think we usually talk every day miss him already, I did no contact with one ex didn't quite work out he hates me lol never done it with the rest sorry for all the questions
