Cap Venuses! Truth? or Not so true?

I read in a book that when a person with Cap Venus becomes comfortable in a relationship, all romance goes out the window.
What do yall think? True or not so true?

I'll post the book name/author if anyone wants to know.

Thats not true at all for me. I loved to be romanced day and night.In fact, if I dont have some sort of romance the relationship seems dead. I also love to romance my partner. My current boyfriend is a Cancer and we are very compatible in that aspect.

i can get very romantic but its tough to find someone who will romance me back and appreciate me romancing them. i go hard day one and just keep upping the ante.

Omg Sooooo TRUE.....I was married to a Cap Venus. He had no fire, sizzle or passion. He loved me, but......he always seemed tooooo guarded.
I am now with another Cap BUT his Venus is in Sag......much better for me cause my Venus is in Leo which conjuncts his Mars.......owwwwww very HOTT. Lol

To be fair.......me and my new Cap just have better synastry all the way around......so it may not be my ex's fault (we just didn't blend well)

I am a cap venus and I am very romantic.
Well, at least with the right person. Many have complain that I am alof, an ice queen or a commitment-phobe.

With my husband I never felt guarded so we romance and love each other all the time. And when we will be old, we will still love each other. We made that promise in our vows and I don't promise light hearted. I am a very serious person in what I say and do.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by how much I love him and how special he is to me, that I cry alone because I am afraid he won't know. So when I see him, I just hold him very tight and hope he can feel it. I tell him lots of time how grateful I am to have met him and how much I admire him for who he is. I get way too emotional and cheesy and lame, which is strange for me, but it is heartfelt. I had left little notes on the fridge, send him songs to his email that reminds of us. I make him special yummy breakfasts at weekends. I buy him little gifts once in a while like a book or something funny. I cook his favorite meals, listen very carefully to him when he talks about his day, do his laundry, have the house clean so he can just relax. I watch his favorites movies together, even though some are boring. We go out just the two of us, to have dinner and drinks and romance without the kids. We make sweet plans just like where we will spend our next wedding anniversaries.
I truly love my hubby and I try my best for him to feel loved and accepted the way he is because he is one the best things that ever happenned in my life and I plan on keep doing that for the rest of our lives.

So not true for me. I never knew love could feel this wonderful and now taht I ahve found it, I will make sure it stays that way 🙂

i dunno of romantic describes me as well as sincere, creative and very affectionate.

then again i suppose it's all in your definition of romance...

i suffer from severe arachnophobia. I was at a formal dinner sitting next to my bf when I saw a spider crawling next to my plate. To keep from making a major spectacle... I bit my tongue and just scooched my chair back a few feet, albeit rather swiftly, then froze. My bf perplexed asked me what was wrong and I just pointed, trying to hold in the desire to hyperventilate. He rolled his eyes, smashed it with his thumb then proceeded to lick the spider guts off his thumb with his tongue. THAT is romance. 😉

Yeh I do romantic. For me there is a bit of truth to it, as once I get comfortable it can become dormant in me. I'm happy to sit back and enjoy the flow of things. I contribute to where I see fit and go all out when I do.

I can just tell he's not trying as hard anymore. lol!

Doesn't shave as often, doesn't dress as nice (more casual), not as many gifts, doesn't say as many sweet/flirty things anymore - but, it's a very comfortable feeling. I feel like I can look a little messy and he won't care. He still hugs me tight when he sees me, opens doors, fixes my plate at dinner time, invites me out with his family, etc. He will hold my hand if I reach out for his, just wish he would reach for mine more. He's not as romantic. The actions are there, just not as many words. So I guess I can say the way of the romance has changed - maybe its in a better way. I suppose its all in perspective. Maybe we've stepped into intimacy mode, rather than the impress you mode. That's a good thing, right?

Thanks for the reinforcement. He has actions. Definitely. I'm a triple cap (sun, moon, mercury) and I understand that. Would much rather have the actions (proof) than just hear words. BUT, I've got a water love sign (scorp) = I have an overwhelming urge and need to say things. So far, I have kept my own counsel. Its getting tougher. 🙂
