Mercury in Retrograde

Who else is having issues during this period— I've had computer issues, phone issues, relationship issues. I have read that if a couple ends a relationship during a retrograde that it is not a permanent break.

Remember, there apparently is a "shadow" period before and after, which puts it from June 9th to August 3rd. Some astrologers believe in the "shadow" period, some don't. Up for debate, I guess...

I couldn't reply to my boyfriend's emails last night, because Yahoo decided that some "suspicious activity" took place and blocked BOTH of my Yahoo accounts for several hours.

Now I'm trying to text him during our lunch break, but my mobile shows "No service". WTF—?

aaah, would that be the reason? all I know is that I have a long time since I experienced such an intense period of stuff in my life. My life has literally been thrown upside down. Deep inside I feel it's all a good thing, but my rationale is saying it's all shit for the moment and my stomach is constantly upset whilst lack of sleep adds to the problem. Would that be the Mercury retrograde?

I couldn't agree with you more!!! I just hope this whole deal about the "Shadow" period is not true because that means we will be in hell until August 3rd! UGH!!!!

Hmm so I guess we had our first retrograde this year 2/23-3/17. Maybe that would probably explain why my relationship which had become official with on 3/9, only lasted about two weeks after he moved in with me on 3/30 after coming home from his extended military training. And now that we're in another one would explain why my gemini's communication (for the last few weeks) has been so lacking. His phone has been dying a lot too, so not as many text either.

Oh & just for the record me & military guy had known each other as friends for 10 yrs prior to making it official. But as I've researched with retrogrades I wasn't feeling it like I was when we got together after the retrograde ended. We were gonna get married and everything! So glad we didn't or I wouldn't have met my currently non-communicative Gemini 😉

@scorpio72- that article was very insightful! Especially the part about relationships undoing themselves. Luckily me & Gemini haven't made things "official" just in the getting to know each other stage. But question...when we DO eventually talk he tells me how he feels about me. Are these feelings real or since he's expressing them during the retrograde will he renege on them?

Actually for me it's been pretty bad. My mercury is in Gemini so I am rather well versed in communication. But right now it's been terrible. Any thing that comes out of my mouth lately has been very bitter or just down right rude. Not only do I find out my younger sister is eloping I just found out yesterday that my ex and his new wife are having a kid.

This whole thing going on is just really getting me upset so I've been very short tempered around people. So much so that whatever comes out of my mouth is slashing the crap out of people's egos. Normally im not so rude but lately I just dont even care anymore. Ive yelled at a few co-workers well maybe not yelled but I was definitely mean spirited. Anything sets me off. From how one of my co-workers stirs the shit out of her yogurt to just people being around in my personal space. Literally losing my marbles.

So with that said I've been big time quiet trying to keep to myself before I go beast mode and rage on people.
