I study alot on the zodiac. got lots of books. Even went to classes. I read the boards and realized alot of people arent fully understanding them.

Okay I was born on Feb 1, so my sun sign is Aquarius. So I am an Aquarius. But I was born at 1:23 p.m so my moon sign is gemini. So this means although I am an aquarius sometimes I might act like a gemini.

This is important to know. Because some people read their sun sign (main sign) and say "Well I don't act like that" or they read someone elses and say "they dont act like that."

If you find out what your moon sign is or someone elses moon sign is, you will know them well.

You want to know why it helps?

I am an aqua, I'm supposed to be compatible with geminis. So I dated a gemini and we just did not get alone. and even now I hate his guts. I thought to myself "Man I thought we were supposed to be compatible" So I read up on Moon signs. I asked him what time he was born. He didn't know. I had to beg but finally he called me back and told me. I found out his moon sign was Capricorn. This meant that although he was a gem he also had traits of a cap. And Aquas don't get along with Caps. This is why we didn't get along.

This is why you can meet two people with the same sign and they act different.

What happens if you don't know what time you were born?

It should be on your birth certificate. or ask your parents. If you can find out atleast around what time you were born. But you have to know to know your moon sign also known as your rising sign. Do you atleast know if you were born a.m or p.m. You dont have to know exact time, if you just know that were born around 2 p.m thats good enough.

For ex: A Cappy Sun male with a Cappy Moon female. Also, wondering if it matters that the signs need to match by the sign exactly or the group they are in. Ex.: Virgo - Sun...Leo - Moon with a Aries - Sun....and a Cappy Moon

Your moon sign has alot to do with emotions and relationships. Thats why you may act more like your moon sign than your sun sign. But as far as what you said, don't know if it's true. Alot of times people with the same signs are not a harmonious pair. Except for cancer and cancer and aquarius and aquarius. Maybe if it's what you said it would work.

This is a great site to look up your sunsign! Not moon sign. Just checked it out and it seemed very accurate.

But as far as moon signs go. I don't really know alot of sites that help you understand your moon sign. Because I found mines through research in books.
But I will do my best to help find out.

But if your sunsign and moon signs are compatiable. Like for example my sunsign is aquarius but moon sign is gemini. Aquas and Gemini's are compatible. If this is your case, your not a very difficult person. You understand yourself quite well too. These kids of people make themselves their best friend and usually don't NEED alot of friends. They also are or can be into themselves a little. I mean they are compatible with themselves....lol
If your sun sign and moon sign aren't compatible then you can have some inner conflicts. Or maybe sometimes you may confuse yourself and dont know quite what you want. Not true in all cases. Just that you may be moody. Like if your and aquarian with capricorn in moon, sometimes you may want a serious relationship to be committed(capricorns need for stableness) but then when it becomes committed you may run (Aquarius's need for freedom).

what house does your moon fall in, and what aspects does your moon make to other planets and your ascendant, especially your personal planets (sun, moon, mercury, venus and mars)? if your moon opposes, square or quincunx your ascendant or sun (or any planets, but the sun and ascendant hold the most weight here) then you may have difficulty exhibiting the moon's traits in that particular sign. go to astro.com and type in your birth data there. most of the time when a person says that their moon or asc. doesn't quite fit them is because they got the wrong time. the asc. and the moon are especially time sensitive. astro.com is the most reliable source for obtaining your chart data.

four things that stuck out to me when i looked at your data. 1)you have moon trine uranus. this is a good aspect as the energy of the two signs involved are compatible. however, the planet uranus is quite the mischievous joker. it's the planet of genius AND unpredictablity. so your moon is in stable taurus, but the aspected to uranus may make you feel erratic sometimes, but in a good way. 2)your moon opposes neptune. neptune is the planet of dreams and disillusion. the opposition is a push and pull energy. since the moon is connected to neptune, your feelings may become turbulent and you could want to take the easy way out in certain situations instead of the taurean way and just stand your ground. in other words, you may feel like a pisces sometimes, not knowing if you should fight the current or go with the flow. 3)your moon trines pluto. harmonious aspect but the pluto energy is "power hungry" if you will, and so this good aspect gives you very intense feelings when your emotions are stirred, which may cause "scenes" but for GOOD reason. so this adds a bit of scorpion intensity to your emotions. 4)your moon is located in the seventh house, in which the natural ruler of the 7th house is libra. so this will also give you a libran quality.

venus makes five aspects, whereas your moon and mercury only make 4 aspects, making them the second strongest planets in your chart. don't rule out pluto, since that is your ruling planet (because you're a scorpio rising.)

just took a look at your data on your profile. you've got your scorpio sun in your first house, so if your a scorpio rising, this will hold precedence over all your other signs, sprinkling them with scorpio intensity and energy. whenever scorpio is on the rise, it will color your chart with that energy, regardless of your sun and moon sign. but also take into consideration how strong the (scorpio) ascendant is, the stronger it is, the more scorpionic you will seem to be. so juwanapla, your chart does make sense, and you're a double whammy for that matter since you have scorpio sun placed in the first house.

ummm, what theory are you refering to? compatilibility is more than just sun signs, in the same vein, it's also more than just moon signs. you're suns are at odds, but your moons are compatible. however, your mars is square her sun, competition or a turn off may result. both of your mars are conjunct, but her mars opposes your sun, so here there's a pull and tug feel. obviously, you're tugging at her, but she's pushing you (and please don't take this the wrong way, i'm only interpreting here). you're attracted to her because your sun sextiles her venus and your mars trines her venus. so basically, you're touching her venus, but you're not touching her mars at all. your venus also squares her sun and mercury too. and keep in mind that i'm only interpreting by signs, not orbs. orbs would be much more accurate. also take into consideration both of your ascendants, this tells a lot more to the relationship based on what planets you visit her in her houses, and vice versa.

bear69, your sun and moon are square each other (in terms of signs only, siince i don't know your degrees), so already, your ego and emotions are not in check with each other. whereas vrigo is a worry wart, sagitarrius is not. in response to circumstances, you tend to respond in a very optimistic and enthusiastic manner. but remember, the virgo will curb this tendency. there is also an urgency to move forward and leave details out, sometimes you may even ignore them when pointed out to you because you're in such a hurry to move on! because virgo and sag are signs that are concerned with knowledge, you will tend to have a very inquisitive nature about you, or at least appear to be that way. this is a very brief interpretation, but i hope you get the gist of it 🙂 .

blufish, about your moon sign being on the libra/scorp cusp, you should probably go to astro.com and check it out, it's a very reliable site. if it still says libra, then perhaps you have your moon placed in the 8th house or makes an aspect with pluto, or you migh possibly have a pluto singleton which calls for intense emotions. as for the analysis that i'm about to do, keep in mind that i am only analyzing from signs, not orbs, orbs are much more accurate, so only take what YOU think makes sense and rings true. i'm also going to omit his moon, as i don't know this for sure, and i will interpret your moon in scorpio.

both of your suns are conjunct, so there is a feeling of familiarity and comraderie, however, competition may also spring from this as you two are so alike (ego-wise), so you might try to outdo each other from time to time. your moon trines his sun, this is a harmonious aspect, so your emotions are in check with his ego, your comfortable with the way he carries himself and your emotions, the way you feel puts him at ease. your sun conjuncts his mars, this can result in competition, how you use it can be good or bad. you can motivate each other, because the sun solarizes the mars energy, and mars energizes mars in his endeavors. should competition arise, like you're trying to one up each other, you'll know it, and it won't be pretty because the sun and mars are very powerful planets in their own way. your moon squares his venus, a harsh aspect which will be confronted, so the way he expresses his affections may not mesh very well with your emotions. he may seem distant and aloof, whereas you want him to express it in a more passionate manner. your mercury conjuncts his sun, one of the best aspects in my opinion in synastry because communication is easy flowing and the way you think compliments his ego. your venus conjuncts his mercury, again, another really good aspect in synastry, the way he thinks and communicates goes well with the way how you express your affections. your mars opposes his sun. the opposition can be good or bad, depending on how you use the energy, like the conjunction. because both power planets are involved again, there might be competition, or you may pick up where he lacks and vice-versa, so in a way, you have what the other needs.

both your mars opposes each other, so your drives may complete each other (b/c of the law of polarity again) or you will simply not understand and may end up pitching against one another. again, this is a very brief interpretation as i did not work with orbs, and i only worked with the energy of the planets, not how the planets exhibit the style of their style (because this would also involve the signs, which would call for a very very detailed analysis). i asked for the signs of your planets to get the aspects. in conclusion, i say you have a nice balance of good and challenging aspects because too many good aspects makes the relationship dull and stagnant, but too many bad aspects makes the relationship to bothersome to deal with. so you want both good and bad aspects. again, only take what you think rings true. i can't stress this enough everytime i do a synastry analysis, because sometimes people take this as the "end-all-be-all," and that is not how anyone should take it. it's all about perspective and what you do with it. (and i'm not an astrolger by the way, i'm still a novice, and i'm saying this because my second to last sentence makes it sound like i do this for a living, lol).

i know some of the interpretations may contradict other ones, so to know which aspect is stronger, one must look at the entire chart to see which ones are minor and omit that, because you won't feel the minor ones too often. ascendants also tell a lot in synastry too, so you might also want to look this up and get a better feel for how you two match up because there are houses to consider too. this can get to be a headache sometimes when you go in too deep into astrology, lol. but its fun and insightful, so i urge you to check them out!

no, no, i do not do this for a living, lol...you're too kind, i'm still a novice. and to answer your question, yes, aspects regarding personal planets will make it hard for him to communicate or pursue. as i said, you need to look at the entire chart to throw out the insignificant aspects, not that they aren't important, you just won't feel them often. when they do surface, you might even say, "why did i do that? that's not like me at all!" so this is why i tend to ignore them, but they are still there.

i just looked at his placement again, his mars is in pisces...he can either go with the flow (and wait for you), or he can go against the current (and go for you instead). so this answers part of your question as to why he is hesitant. again, like you suggested, you should look to aspects and the ascendant (which is the rising sign, and yes, this requires the exact time) and the house placements. sometimes looking at the chart itself will tell you a lot about a person, i like to look for grand trines, t-squares and such. i think i may be overdoing it here though, sorry. but i hope this helped clear up any confusion that you may have had. 🙂

whenever scorpio is on the rise, it tends to color the entire chart that way, the stronger the ascendant, the more you come off as such...and scorpio risings have really bad tempers when provoked (i'm a scorp rising too.)

bear69, i wouldn't say that having a moon in sag would make you prone to cheating, but i think having a majority of your planets in fire signs may give you a wandering eye, but a wandering heart and body, not sure, lol. i have a lot of fire in my chart, but many of them are placed in earth and water houses, followed by 1 tenated air house and 2 tenated fire houses, so i admit to having a roaming eye, but i don't cheat. the earth keeps me steady and the water makes me value my s.o. and my emotions to do anything like that.

as for your boyfriend, i would look to see where most of his planets fall in his chart, their aspects to other planets and the elements of his planets. but a simple analysis based on his sun and moon would say that he expects his partner to be reliable, dependable, intelligent, nurturing and down to earth. his fire moon in sag wants someone who likes to try new things and be adventurous, and again, intelligent. (the three signs in the zodiac that are concerned with knowledge are gemini, virgo and sag.) but don't get carried away with being too impulsive or rash, remember the virgo placement. virgo likes to play it safe, but the sag moon requires a little adventure. look at his moon and venus, as this tells you what he expects early on in a relationship, then his sun and mars as you progress. put the four together and you'll have a clear picture. if you're going for marriage (or a really long-term relationship), look at the asteroid juno and it's house, sign placement and aspects.

thanks for the compliments...i do this for a hobby though. never thought about doing this as a profession. you should read on liz greene's books, there's this one book that i absolutely love from her, it's called "relationships and how to survive them," at least i think that's the title...oh boy, my memory is already starting to go, lol. but the book is very insightful, it deals with composites and some natal stuff, and transits. i didn't think you could read such personal stuff about a person through a chart, but you actually can...such as having a fall out with a parent or just a bad relationship with them even when their sign is in harmony with you!!! anyway, it's great stuff.

bear69, sure, you can PM me. but it make take several days as i don't go on here as often anymore because i've been busy at work...so it might take up to a week, the analysis also takes awhile too. and please don't take any of the analysis as the bible, only you can make the final decision for yourself and what rings true for you. i can't stress this part enough, nobody can define you better than yourself (and some really close people). what is your natal can be influenced by transits, sometimes disruptive (even when your chart may define you to be a dignified individual) and sometimes harmonious (when your natal chart may say otherwise, like a nasty person may feel like being kind for once...you know the saying "something feels fishy today"). hmmm, i think i'm digressing again, lol.

I'm with an aqua guy, who might or might not get along with me, but the fact that my rising is in Libra, and his moon is in Cancer with my moon is Pisces (ick, hate that) we click okay.

I used to think this was so easy and simple, only 12 signs, I had no idea about moons, other planets, etc.
It makes me really consider astrology more and more
