I agree the moon is definitely overrated. And focusing on that alone will not give the answers. It has to be the bigger picture that involves all other placements, their aspects to one another, etc.

i don't know. i like the fact that my partner and i share the same moon. there is an unspoken comfort there in understanding how the other person is feeling.

My parents have the same moon 🙂
Not sure if it works well for Pisces moons, though. Broke up with one 5 months ago. When it was good, was pure bliss! Intoxicating! When it was just a bit bad, the shit hit the fan in a second. Ironically, it's the person who shat blaming and ghosting the one who switched the fan on! Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner were another couple with Pisces moons that comes to mind...click to expand

I agree also you hear so much about moons being so important.
My question here is have any of you been with a partner with a very similar placement.
Who is more compatible together as a couple or friends in this scenario given the placements I have provided.
Just a little experiment.
Thanks to anyone who can tell me who would get on better and why.
Person 1.
Sun/Mars - Sagittarius.
Moon - Aquarius.
Venus - Scorpio.
Person 2.
Sun/Venus - Gemini.
Moon - Virgo.
Mars - Aries.
Person 3.
Sun/Venus/Mars - Sagittarius.
Moon Aquarius.
Person 4.
Sun - Sagittarius.
Moon - Leo.
Venus - Scorpio.
Mars - Aries.
Just a little fun if anyone would like to answer. thanks 🙂

The more that I have come to realize from the past about my moon sign, since they claim you should go for people whose sun matches your moon, the more I realize that I was really just comfortable in the relationships but BORED out of my mind. Like sure, I could see these people for small talk and chatter, maybe even as friends but I was not excited by them. I feel like I almost took them for granted as buddies but when I was with them, I was not excited but more at ease.
When I went for people whose sun squared my moon or made a tense aspect to it or just people who were not supposed to be compatible with my moon, I was excited even though I had my downsides with them. They brought a lot of me and even though we had our fights, we were stronger and I thought of them more.
Like one woman I am seeing is exactly conjunct with my moon on so many levels but I am so bored of her, she is a "good girl" but I feel like I only get along with her.
Another? Her sun is squared my moon and she does not make favorable aspects to it. We've been at it for over a year and sometimes I do wish she suffers but my god, when we get together it is fireworks and I think of her ten times more than the former.
I think synastry's classical aspects miss the deepest part of human psyche.
Just because we are comfortable with someone does not always mean they will arouse us and sit in our thoughts.
Hate away.
The moon is overrated.
