Which do you think is the stronger..

In your opinion which do you think is the stronger Synastry aspect?? In what way, and why?

Venus / Mars (I think trine can go etier way but sextile is where its at)

Sun / Moon (depends on gender but sometimes it doesn't)

Moon / Mars (I advocate this because even if you despise the person, the still make a lasting impression on you, like a cancer)

Ascendant / Venus (you are what you attract)

My vote is for Mars/Moon..from personal experience and the idea that one mars doesn't even need to try anything to incite the moon.

Sun/Moon is the best. Mans Sun and womans moon.
The best of the best. It goes faaaaaar beyond sex or anything else that might keep the relationship together. I can't even explain it.

I think I understand what you mean...

My husband has an earth sun/air moon...I have a air sun/earth moon...they aren't exactly matched, but there's some potential there...I've noticed that whenever I think that he doesn't understand me or that I'm furious at him..all he has to do is walk up to me and just touch my shoulder and not even say anything and it's nearly psychic..I feel so safe.

An interesting thing I found in my experience is that there's a lot of physical attraction between me and Capricorn women, and I believe that's due to my Mars in Capricorn. Which is a bit odd since I read that should be the case with my Venus (which is in Leo and I hardly ever come across Leo women for some odd reason, though the one I did we had strong mutual attraction). Then again it may be due to the "opposites attract" thing. But they're also short term attractions, and I never see myself wanting to be with them in the long run.

Earth women in general seem to see something they like in me from my experience, and that could be due to my Mars (trine/conjunction aspects) or Sun (sextile/opposition), or both.

It depends on the person's chart type. For me, the Moon/Mars is the strongest because it belongs to my chart type 🙂.

Sun/Moon and ASC/Venus doesn't work for me because none of them are aspected in my chart.

Hi Claire, yes probably it (Venus/ASC) would work a bit better for you. But a lasting union has to involve Saturn in the other aspects. Personally, I don't take Venus/ASC as a relationship aspect, but who knows, maybe I know little about it 🙂.

All the aspects that I have felt work very strongly for me are those reflected in my chart.

If your chart has many aspects other than Venus/ASC, then perhaps the effect of Venus/ASC will be diluted some. But again, I don't see ASC aspects as heavy in relationships.

It is usually Pluto, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon and Sun.

Ascendant/Midheaven all the way! It's so wonderful when your spouse trueself is in harmony with your social mask. Yes it's even more importand than is Ascendant/Ascendant combination.

Sun/Moon oh yes! Conjunction is especially good but among those other aspects I have a hard time with Moon Scorpios since they wont submit to My Cancer Sun. Opposite ones could be challenging but cool with the sadomasochistic touch whereas those square ones feel ignored by Me.

Mars/Mars is a must! With shared hobbies and interested there's much potentional for friendship.

Sun/Jupiter is good except of the Scorpio then. Amazingly even the opposite Jupiter goes but then there's the Venus factor in play telling how devoted that other part really is despite the similar philosophical appearance.
