I do agree with the article in full, especially 7 and 10. Compliments donât make me uncomfortable, but if a guy said âyouâre the most beautiful woman in the worldâ thatâs obviously a damn lie and exaggerated.
On the flip side tho, like she said, whatâs considered beautiful is subjective. She is assuming when he says âyouâre the most beautiful woman in the worldâ heâs talking about her appearance when he might actually be talking about her as a whole person. Beautiful heart, beautiful soul, beautiful mind.. would have been better if he said âyouâre the most beautiful woman that I knowâ. In that case he might be genuine, and again, not only referring to her appearance but saying she is beautiful both inside and out. (Which a lot of people are NOT these days). So that would be more believable. Lol

My husband compliments me all the time and tells me Iâm more beautiful to him than I was at 26. He also says he prefers me over all other women. I love it. No shame.
He wasnât this complimentary in the beginning. He gets sweeter and more complimentary ever year.

How do you feel about this? Does it make sense to you?
I had a discussion w my partner about this last night. I align w 2, 4-8, 10 and 11. As a sapio, being told "you're beautiful" is nice but, it doesn't hold any weight w me/not impressed when men verbalize their attraction for me. In fact, I'd rather not hear it.
On the other hand, my ex hubby never complimented me. But it didn't bother me or cause us problems at all.
