I mean he could have just blocked you. He could have said "look, stop texting me."

I didn't text anything mean back, but my usual self would. So far, based on people's comments, if I had texted anything mean back, this could have been another incidence of me overracting :p

I am more used to the ghosting method as well. If I text someone and doesn't get a repsonse for more than 1 day or 2, I think it means not interested, vise versa. I guess that's why I am not sure if the text message is mean or not because I don't usually say it this way or get anything like that.

That's what I thought too. I think without this sentence, there'd be room left for the recipient to ask why (e.g. "Why can't you maintain the communication? What's wrong?"). But anyways, when I saw it, it meant "good bye", signaling the end of the conversation.

Its become better over time for me. Especially as I've worked on some personal underlying anxiety. Plus I had a habit of taking stress from other areas of my life and applying it to my love life, by making a bigger deal out of the pointless things so I can handle the more difficult ones. Weird anxiety transference. That's prob just me tho lol

These differences are what have opened up this very dialogue that's given us both some knowledge about how others may perceive us and/or our message/text.
