How do you fully get over someone?

I had a quick, three month relationship, that was problematic. We really weren't fit for each other and dragged it out a little bit further than we should have. Although it wasn't unhealthy I was head over heels for him and once I have feelings for someone it's very difficult for me to let go. He has a past of jumping relationship to relationship and having a tendency to get serious very quickly. I've been replaced already while I think of him at least once a day. I came to terms with the break up but it seems to have no affect on him.

How do you forget about someone? This is one of my greatest flaws. We broke up back in March and we haven't spoken in almost a month... I should be over this by now

why are you in a rush?

they say the time it takes to get rid of such feelings is proportional to the duration of the encounter. (another reason why no contact policy is the right thing to do)

back to op:
could be cause you aren't involved in a new case.

could be the wounded vanity (the unfortunate side of beautiful people).

could be the wounded sense of justice (Aqua and Libra (and actually everybody else too)).

could be a match of sn-nn nodes or ac-dc between one chart and the other.

You are almost exactly like me in this sense.
I am pretty much the same when it comes to being with someone. And also the fallout after the break up.

Start talking to someone who puts a smile on your face, and you will get over him more every day. When you start getting those "good morning beautiful" texts, trust me you will be able to drop those feelings for him.

You dont forget about them... At least I couldn't and still reminisce at times.

But don't expect to forget. Try to accept it and find motivation to move forward. For me, it's physical activity. Perfecting my body. Boxing, Pilates, running... I find solace in in being healthy, in looking healthy, in making others question why I'm single. And MUSIC! ART! : )

Good luck in not getting. over it but getting THROUGH . It!!!!!!! Trying to forget is like trying to pretend your thumb doesn't exist but you still *need* it..

My chart if you can read it.

I think my sag and Aries plays the biggest roles but I don't really know.

I'm the same way. I don't get over an ex until I become seriously involved with someone new (which has taken years), and even then, I'll still reminisce every once in a while.

The emotion never completely goes away but it's guaranteed that after some time, it becomes so minor that even when you do think about them, the thoughts are distant (and happy). I think there's some security in knowing that.

Time is really the only factor that really helps you move on.
You can do it all: completely block that person from your life so that they can't contact you again (and so you can't cyber-stalk them), get rid of any and all reminders, put your thoughts and emotions into a journal, put yourself first and do things you enjoy, spend time with family and friends, and get into a rebound relationship, and you STILL will have feelings for someone you fell in love with.
The longer you go without him in your life, though, the less you start to think about him each day, the less frequently he appears in your dreams, the less the reminders hurt, and the better you start to feel.

The scar will remain as a reminder of your strength, but only time will heal the wound of love lost.
