I joined a dating site a year ago. I messaged with a guy on there. We've been in contact on and off for a year (sometimes due to me, sometimes due to him).
We have not met in person. Now, here's the thing...each time he messages me he always asks me to hang out. He never seems to plan in advance. When he asks me out, he says to meet him at the movies, for ice cream, to work out together. Other times, his messages consist of physical attraction. Like, 'I want to kiss you" or 'I would love a hug from you' or 'You have a beautiful body' or 'I'm sorry, but you make me hot sometimes'. I've told him I do not enjoy these sort of comments, but he said he cannot control it. I was confused by this. Then, he doesn't really ask much about my life. His texts are always 'Hii" or 'How r u" and then he goes straight to inviting me to hang last minute or a physical type of comment. For some reason, I gave him my number for us to text after a year. He asked me to text him, so I did. His conversation skills remained the same. He asks me to send pic- I send a normal one.
Then one day he asks me, 'Can I send you a pic of my body?". I tell him no. Then one day, he does. It's a shirtless pic. I tell him I prefer a shirt on type of pic. Now, in all this time....I've sent his voice messages on the dating app and left a vm on his phone. He never replied using his voice. Back to the shirtless pic, he asks me 'if I have ever seena guy naked?" I tell him no. Then he asks if I am a virgin. I tell him yes bc I am. Now, this next part infuriated me....he offers to send me a naked pic of him to "help me" bc I have never seen a naked guy. I get so mad- I tell him I never want to speak to him again. He starts texting back to back trying to get me to answer. I ignore him. Finally, he sends me a text from a different number! I didnt know who it was, so I replied. He asked me what was wrong bc he did nothing wrong. I tell him. He finally says sorry after tell him he should. I let it go. Fast forward, I tell him I can meet him in a few months. All of a sudden, I sense hesitation on his end. He doesn't agree to it, but doesn't dismiss it. Then I tell him I've never heard his voice and I tell him to call me. He doesn't. Now, for a moment....I think I'm being catfished or I'm talking to a girl LOL. I look up his number....it shows the name he gave me. The area code is near me.
I stopped replying to his messages because I am so confused about this. Idk if I should stop contact and move on. Is he a jerk? Is he only interested in sex? Why did he send me a body pic? Why did he offer to send me a naked pic? Ladies, what do you think of this guy? Guys, what do you think this guy is really looking for?
