The Church you're attending to does it help you grow spiritually?

I wash in a church that I later found out was a cult for 3 years.

I obtained a relationship to god during this time and became seriously religious and spiritual to be honest. Uhmmmmm it's a long story but I now believe in god as in the universe. I also still believe in religion and good but definitely not in a physical church sense.

I went to that church 3-4x a week only talked to church members became abstinent from sex drugs and all kinds of alcohol. I maintained this for about a year

Yes. I go to a Bible teaching church that still believes in making disciples. Due to their discipleship program I believe they are turning out more mature followers than many other places. They emphasize a daily relation with Jesus through Bible reading, prayer and hanging out with others of like mind.

Bible teachings are for old old days, the real spiritually its in us to find, with aquarius era coming.

Until 11 years old I was there at church but i quitted. Some things said are good but they simply dont pratice it.
