O Most Loving Jesus meek lamb of God
I a miserable sinner salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy shoulder on which Thou did bear Thyheavy Cross.
Which so tore Thy fleshand laid bare Thy bones so as to inflict in Thee an anguish greaterthan any other wound of Thy most blessed body.
I adore Thee O Jesusmost sorrowful.
I praise and glorifyThee and give Thee thanks for thismost sacred and painful wound.
Be-seeching Thee by that exceeding painand by that crushing burden of Thyheavy cross to be merciful to me a sinner forgive me all my mortal andvenial sins and to lead me on towards Heaven along the way of Thy Cross.
