Do you need only a little emotional reassurance?

Are you emotionally needy?



I ask this because I feel as though I am emotionally needy in relationships. Is this normal? My moons in Cap, Venus in Cap, Merc in Sag, Mars in Aquarius, Virgo rising.

It depends. For me, if I'm receiving attention and spending time, then no. But if that is lacking, I need lots of communication and verbal reassurance.

But wait. Is the "attention" an emotional need? Maybe I'm misinterpreting it.

I don't know....Now that you've given me your answer I'm thinking 'Am I emotionally needy or Do I need attention?

Yeah I'm with you there. If I'm getting communication, like with texts, I don't need reassurance. If there's little to no communication I usually start wondering what's up.
Then again the last guy I was with I trusted so much that when we barely talked I thought very little of it. Guess I'm just maturing and becoming more trusting

Well I lived with my ex and he was never very 'emotionally' reassuring so to speak. I'd have to ask him 'Do you love me?' I done this throughout our whole relationship. It did upset me at first but then I evolved. I became more laid back, more trusting with time, so much infact I feel I missed many alarm bells when he was playing away. More fool me. Ah well, lessons have been learnt.

He told me I was emotionally needy, but he prolly feels like that cause he's emotionally inept. HA!

i am super duper needy but i dont express myself too well in that department. im always worried about coming off as super clingy and controlling.

My Moon is in Capricorn in the 7th house.

I haven't been in very many relationships but I am "needy" in a sense. I need a partner that is very sensitive to the cues I give out non-verbally. Communication is vital for me. If I don't get the type of communication and response I want, I become really cold and shut you off until I'm ready to discuss what's bothering me. Could be my Moon-Mercury conjunction.

I feel the same. I try not to come off as clingy but sometimes this can't be helped. Ah well, whatcha gona do (?) LOL
