I'm Torn. What Would You Do?

This Scorp has an irritating thing he does to me. A part of me feels he does it on purpose when he's feeling vindictive. Another part of me feels like he just has douchebag ways about him and this is one.

Anyway, when we first met almost 2 years ago, he did it, and smelled a rat and investigated and called him out about his lie. He denied it, I pressed on, and he finally came clean. It wasn't major, but it was a lie nonetheless. He has done it several times since then, just not covering it with a lie. Me, like a dummy, just ignored it.

Well he did it again last week. It just hit a nerve. I called him up and cussed him out. I mean I've never lost my temper with him. But this was an all out verbal assault. Of course he denied it and I called shenanigans. He also apologized (before I really sounded off)which made me really call bullshit because he says sorry once in a blue moon. Well now it seems as though this time he wasn't lying or being a douche. I'm not sure.

I ran into him the next day and he was distant. We haven't spoken since. I saw him Monday and he was very warm asking where have I been. I was Lukewarm in response. I don't like unrighteousness. Part of me feels bad that I may have been wrong and broke fool. I also sounded off about other things I didn't like but didn't speak on in my fit of rage. Another part of me feels like he had it coming. I should have been spoken up, and got what he deserved. He's done it before, and him lying in the beginning made him lose credibility with this so he kinda brought it on himself. What do you guys think?

I think he is a douchelord and had it coming. Like seriously how many times can you let things slide? I think you stood your ground and should stick to your guns.

Keep your eye on that scorpio... chances are you weren't in the wrong if he's coming around again. If he felt like he was wrongly accused he most likely wouldn't have forgiven you for a while.

@Happy I wouldn't say I'm forgiven yet as he hasn't called me. We've only had incidental contact. But maybe his being nice was a "let me play nice so this can just blow over" type deal. I normally bounce right back to my happy go lucky self. But I was livid and I'm not feeling him right now lol. That twatburger.

my scorp lies all the figgin time. its sooo annoying and unnesceary. keep calling him out on it. again, Happy is right, he knows what he does. these scorp men are INTELLIGENT and cunning. especially since yours is also a gemini moon right? super cunning. sometimes the twins cant even keep up with themselves.

he's being distant for a few reasons..

1.) he wants to gain the upper hand and have you come after him to baby him. its a waltz. sometimes you have to baby him and other times, mofo needs tough love.

2.) he knows he fucked up and he thinks your mad at him. he may be hesitant to come talk to you. if he does, his gemini moon will use humor to approach you. its annoying when u want him to be serious, but gemini moons are lighthearted. what is his mars sign again??

scorp men tend to need alot of postive reinforcement. they need to know that the coast is clear to talk to you without the fear of being rejected.

lastly, he loves it when u get mad. your showing him emotions and hes getting to know how you will react in any situation. even if it means pulling the same lame ass tactics like lying or silent treatment. bewilder him and give him a different reaction. if u always get mad and blow up, he will come to expect that and he will know when the storm will be over and he will revert right back to his old ways because you never go further than your blow up. next time he does some dumb shit, bake him a cake. it will confuse the shit out of him.

I believe you're spot on. I have noticed he has such a cold macho exterior. But he is very insecure and protective of himself. When in doubt, he runs for cover. Very frail that way in an emotional sense.

Even I remember speaking with him once and telling him straight up I didn't want to see him anymore. In a rare honest moment lol, he said he's very careful about who he lets in his heart and his real inner circle is small because of it. He said he's very careful with his heart and was sorry for making me feel unappreciated. Then he put his mask back on and puffed back up lol. I try to keep that in mind when he's doing his performances.

yeah girl, the mask stays on. it may come off for a quick second, but they are protective as all hell. scorps are easily manipulated with matters of the heart. total suckas for love. an once of positive reinforcement goes a long way. just as with something negative or that hurts them, sticks around for a long time...if not forever. the person who hurts them, is the only one who can heal them.

Sutkeh knows quite a bit about mars in libra.... what i do know is that they try, not always succeed, in finding balance in their actions. they straddle the fence quite a bit.

Hi DMV 😄 I had chuckle when reading your post.

I'm giving checkmarks to your first paragraph. Fully agree. The 'being manipulated' part in the matters of heart, is actually what we are looking for. If you say what we want to hear, you may win, but watch out if you lied, then next time will not be easy to get around. Libra gives us more understanding in a broader range. It may seem indeciveness, but the drawback here is, we usually can see and feel from your standpoint as well. There never is an absolute answer. You just make a decision and stick to it, but keep flexible for changes over time. Not being able to adjust is limiting.


To the original poster, I seriously didn't understand what the big lie was about. Perhaps it is the difference in personal opinions. It may not have been as important to him as it is to you. I can't know, of course. If he pulls back, he is hurt. It is not to manipulate you, it is to have a second thought about the situation.

@Fum you're very sweet. But it wasn't a misunderstanding. He was being a twatburger lol. I was mad at him, so he got mad at me and was doing vindictive things. Culminating with this...he had me waiting for him and didn't show up. I only have an hour so after a certain point it's useless. But he does that to piss me off, then covers it with an "emergency at work" lie. Now situations do come up in our line of work. But since he was being a jerk all day, I snooped around. Gained some intel, then called him out and cussed him out for being a douche all day, then making me wait and lying about the reason why.

That includes anger. So if I unknowingly piss him off, he never says "WTF.". He just does some underhanded b.s. to get back at me. Which makes me roar again, then he gets mad again, and we go in circles. It's very difficult for me, as I may only hear the source of his unhappiness, a few months later, in a joking manner. Then the lightbulb goes off and I'm like, "Why couldn't he just say so?". But then, he wouldn't be him 😛

omg. is it sooo rare to get that moment where he just cant contain himself and loses control and blurts out his true feelings. doesnt happen alot. what i do notice is that he will know within a millisecond why your pissed and it truly hurts him to know that he hurt you. especially if there is a definite fear that you wont speak to him ever again. he will go into hyperdrive and figure out how to get you to smile again. when they always think theyre losing you, they show and PROVE!

i 2 am used to the underhandedness but there hasnt been too much of that lately. this negro is a bold one. he will get me back right in front of my face. he's into this phase where he likes to embaress me in public. steams me up.

He kept doing it, despite how you felt, that in itself is annoying and immature. It no longer becomes an issue of what he did but the fact that he kept doing it. Looking for a rise? seeing how much he can get away with? looking for some drama to see how much you care? maybe all of the above?

There are only so many times that you can let things slip. If you are irritated that is a major sign that something is wrong. I suggest go with your feelings and trust them. The thing with Scorpios is that they can twist things and yes lie like a pro. And nothing will stop them from trying to manipulate the situation. It is their nature. At least a majority of Scorpio men's.

@DMV hmmm...I probably wouldn't love him the same. He is the only man that can make me squirm and I love it and hate it lol. And you are so right. Today out of the blue he bought me something I needed but was too cheap to buy for myself. Then he took me out for a nice dinner.. So I agree. He definitely felt guilty about me getting so angry.
