I cannot give you explanation for other Sags.

Generally nobody has a gurantee for how her/his words will be understood. Or whether the signals they send are received by the meant receivers.

Speaking for myself
I try to escape from those whom I don't like. And if I cannot, -like when they are my colleagues -, then I don't bother myself with insults. That would be too much involvement. It's like filtering noises out when you cannot reduce or switch them off.
