I'm gonna be honest. That is the best I've seen Palin, in comparison to her other appearances. She was no match for Biden, but she exceeded the low expectations set prior to going into the debate.

In one term, Nancy Pelosi has proven that she can't stand up to Dick Cheney's pinky finger. She can't stop Iraq war funding. She can't implement mortgage reform that benefits the borrowers. She can't stand up for the biggest special interest giveaway in American history.

I'm going anti-incumbent personally. Neither Obama nor McCain is getting my vote. Frankly, either guy who wins is going to survive only one term anyway.

This bill will not restart the credit markets. It will not save jobs. It will not save the stock market. It will not save deadbeats. It will not prevent foreclosures.

I don't know what clowns you hang out with Ferdy, but the opposition to this bailout is near universal where I'm at.

In a perverse sort of way, I'm kind of glad it passed a second time because it will enrage people to throw these guys out of office.

There are no guarantees with the bailout. No certainty that it'll be recovered. Even if it stabilizes the economy- for how long? We could potentially end up right back at square one, and in need of another trillion. Then how are they going to raise the money?

It would have made more sense if he'd chosen someone like Condie Rice, but that would have reinforced the image of a failed Republican presidency and a failed Repulican philosophy, an image that they are trying to re style . Instead, they should revamp their philosophy, because rewrapping it is not going to work.

Biden won that freaking debate -- hands down and legs crossed 😉 He knew actually how to handle her towards then end and he was keeping things as honest as he could 😉 Sarah was so funny, she tried way too hard to be real, I wanted to just grab the woman and slap her back to reality.

The whole time I was thinking, "Lady, would you please stop the bull-shit already. By the heavens, stop talking like that!!!!!!!" lol, all that was getting on my nerves -- she was seriously trying too hard and it showed. Also, she mostly read off of her 'notes', the only time she was reading off of her pre-prepared notes is when she was making wise-cracks. Joe Biden spoke facts and bull-shitted all with his head up 😄 😄 😄

The Palin woman is someone I have a problem with simply because she is dumb as bricks but yet people said she did a good job during the debate. Okay, she 'survived' and didn't become an air-head like she did in previous interviews. She got up there and did what she was suppose to do ... and thats talk in complete sentences. For crying out loud, thats all she did was talk in complete sentences with that annoying accent -- I swear to gawd I wanted to put a sock in her mouth.

Maybe I'm digging too deep, but a woman like Palin sets us way back. And the fact that people are giving her credit just because she was a woman who survived against an experienced man further proves this. The hell, I couldn't got up there and did the same thing but she's not a college student, she's a governor ... ~sigh~
