People can be so mean

I was at the laundrymat, with my dog. The laundrymat owner approved her being there and offleash a time previously, and then today he also said "Oh she can stay!" as I was going to get my soap out of the truck (he thought I was putting her back in the car). This is off leash, from day one, totally okay with the owners. And why not? She is probably the world's best behaved dog when I'm with her, she is very friendly, calm, and polite. Stupid bitchy lady brings in her three kids and promptly ignores them entirely to play on the computer. My dog walks up to her to say hello, very friendly but not overly so, just walked up and sniffed her. She told my dog "Go play on the freeway". Thank god I was about to leave I was very close to making a huge scene. I feel sorry for her kids. I hope she goes and plays with a 9mm.

You cry more than any grown person I've ever seen, and most of the time, it's over stupid shit like this.


dogs are stupid, they have no clue what playing on the freeway means .. you just want to be a crybaby, is all.

Seriously Nemesis?? She wouldn't hurt a fly. I say when she's with me she behaves because when I leave her alone she has separation anxiety. Still isn't mean, just anxious and therefore destructive to objects. 99% of the time when shes with me (in any situation, indoor, public, outdoor, etc, she goes with me everywhere) she lays around and sleeps. She does usually say hello to everyone in the room and then finds a place to lay down, she likes to be friendly. But isn't like some psycho lab that jumps on everyone, she just calmly walks up and sniffs, lets you pet her, and then walks away.

And yeah, Sun Gem, I'm sure she could sense the negativity. And not to mention I got very bristly all of a sudden. She didn't really react to it but I'm sure she noticed.

I like dogs.

With exception to working dogs ( seeing eye, hearing ear, etc )
I do not like when people who own dogs take them to public places
( places where food is sold, banks, anywhere standing in LINE )
let them off their leash where they can make some people fearful
or allow them to put their nose on my BLACK pantleg.

It's too bad there is not a "stupid people catcher" who takes
them to the pound, then their relatives need to come and pay
a fine ... or they put them down.

The worst was a woman who put her little Westie up on the counter
at the bank - of course with dogcrap hanging off it's fur, it SAT
its dirty butt down there and I was like ...

"... uh ... are you (f\u\c\k\i\n\g) SERIOUS? " to the teller who
told me I was "holding up the line".

"Um ... "look" at your counter.
See that brow stuff where my papers need to go?"

oh dear lord, just be glad, because it could have been a hell of alot worse...and personally I'm glad you didn't say anything because If I was that woman. I would have tore your ass a new hole if you had came up to me about how I 'talked to your dog wrong.' and if you even tried to attempt to make a comparison of your dog to my children. You would have went home crying that day.
