scorpio and cancer

How is this combo? I have read that this is a powerful duo - emotionally, physically, all the way around. Anyone experience this combo? Plz advise.

this could be a very good match if the scorpio can fully trust the cancer then he is in for a real treat scorpios a very loyal well speaking for myself and if the love is there and cancer tries not to hurt scorpio then she or he will be there for this cancer forever... a scorpio needs to feel the love and needs certain things from a cancer usually a scorpio is very very direct in what she wants she wont play games she just tells u what her needs are and hope that u can give her what she is asking and if u do these things she will most certainly make u a very very happy person because she will give u her all in the relationship u will know that u are the one and wont have to guess i hope that this helps u..good luck in love

I, too, give so much of myself to a relationship, physically, emotionally, every which way and then some. If a scorpio can appreciate what I give (and I can meet all their needs), then maybe, finally, I have met my match. It's not love yet, just beginning, but the "vibe" is good.
I, too, need emotional security and trust (sacred), and attention, and affection. We will see, thanks for the advice!

Cancer and Scorpio is a magical yet earthy combination, in my opinion. And by earthy I mean unusually steady, and not too turbulent for two water signs. And yes, it is powerful on all levels. If the "vibe" is good, I would trust that feeling, especially since you're a Cancer and highly perceptive when it comes to emotions. I have dated three Cancers, and they were all fundamentally good relationships, I had a problem with one of them being unfaithful, but the relationship deteriorated fast when I found out, even though I wanted it to work, I personally cannot get over things like that at all, not ever. Scorpios are more demanding, critical and passionate than Cancers, but Cancers are more gentle, understanding and nurturing, so it all balances out in the end, unless you're dealing with a particularly hot tempered scorp or you are a particularly sensitive Cancer. But nine times out of ten, I would rate this as an excellent combination.

I know phoenix - My ex b/f and his latest b/f (scorpio) had a falling out over xmas. We met each other online. We finally connected via phone and had a fantastic phone conversation. The more we spoke, we realized we dated the same person. That's what I mean by "find out". He said he wished he should have met me first, but loved x and is going to make a go of it again. I wished him luck in his efforts and hoped it worked out for them. Druthers is problems. He's already scarred from last fight. I think I messed up because maybe I shouldn't have said that I was involved deeply once with the same man. But, I was honest, so I feel good about that. It's too bad, because he sounds like a great guy. That't the story.

I've got to tell you..my life is full of surprises. Well, the scorpio above is no longer in the pic, but I did meet another scorpio who is just sweeping me off my feet. lol, your scorp sounds similar to me. He is just protecting himself while he feels you out (perfect read you had on him! I'm impressed!)...not to worry, we get more serious and fearless the more time we spend with you. I'm glad things seem to be going pretty well, keep us updated 🙂

p.s. Even on the off-chance that the scorp sees you as boring or too nice, if there is chemistry there, he'll disregard these other issues. As far as you being deep and that putting him off...no. Not possible. Deep is good, deep is what we're looking for, bring on the deep. lol. Good luck. Be strong. Thanks phoenix - I notice the more the scorp spends time with me, the more he breaks down and shares a little more with me. We have not been "physical" - outside of kissing. He did share with me the "horrid" past he had with others, and then he said, "then I meet you" someone I feel confort, safe - haven't felt like that in years. Mmmm, yes...well, not really advice, more like a definite opinion -- he's digging on you in a major way. Trust me. He's being far more open about his feelings than he ever would be with someone he wasn't seriously into. I am happy for you! He probably won't play you, especially since he already made himself open and vulnerable to you by telling you how he feels in such undeniable ways. Take your time, but enjoy the relationship -- it should be a great match. Don't give him any reason to be jealous except in the most harmless of ways, or he will never trust you. And we're intensely jealous. lol. So be careful. Good for you!

I can't stress the jealousy factor enough...we get all worked up (whether we show it or not) over the littlest things sometimes.

I can appreciate that very much. I won't give any reason to be jealous. I know it took alot for him to trust me and telling me things, and making himself "vulnerable" in a sense. I told him by sharing his thoughts and feelings, it only brings me closer, for he was afraid I would run away.

Update phoenix - this relationship with me (cancer) and the scorpio is really, really, taking off. I don't think I've ever dated someone who cares so much - and he is ready to committ, and doesn't want me to date others. It's only been 4 weeks - is this possible? I really feel myself falling, for the connection is so warm and natural. Like I said, I've never dated anyone that is so caring, and shows it. He's very spiritual and has very high morals. Well, just when you think it's too good to be true. The scorp and I are on having problems. We had a mis-ommunication issue over the weekend, and he is a little acting like a baby. I'm trying really hard after 3 days of not speaking, to put things behind us - so I contacted him, to say hi, and to ask how he was doing. I don't know.
Maybe I should just let it go ........

Relationships have their ups and downs. If the reason for argument is petty, just let it go. Why end something you've been working on over something small (if it's small)?

floater, I think you should in fact let it go. If he is important enough to you, you both will get through it (as long as you're just as important to him). If neither of you is important enough to the other to try to make it work, then actually, that's good because you will both be cutting your losses and you will be able to find someone who *does* matter enough.

Cancer: Sometime this is a good relationship. Sometimes, it's even great. It's water and water, your Scorpio Fixed sign water versus his Cancer Cardinal sign water. Emotions are bound to run high.
