Hello all!
I'm new to the boards and after reading through many of the previous posts I thought I would share/ask a bit of my own. I'm dating a scorpio. It's an extremely complicated relationship (aren't they all?) but I will try to generalize.

My scorpio and I have been "dating" almost three months. The connection is unbelievable and we're crazy about each other. He says that I'm an Angel sent to save him from his unhappy life. I'm perfect. He's never felt this way about anyone before. He never thought he could feel so good in a relationship. Etc. So we spent an amazing night together on Valentine's day. That's when he said the Angel comment. He toasted to "a beautiful love affair that's just beginning." Everything was great and he was showing an extremely emotional side that is usually uncomfortable for him, but he looked so happy about it. He talked about our future. Where we see ourselves in two years. Talked about plans with having children etc. We awoke on Wednesday morning and I had to head home. He dropped me off at the airport then came in shouting my name to hold me one last time.

That night he sent me a text saying that his pillow smelled of me and he misses me.

Since then, nothing. He just disappeared. Non-responsive to my few messages. I'm certain that he's in love with me and can feel how genuine he is when he says it. So why the disappearing act? My question is - Do Scorpio's pull away abruptly when they feel themselves becoming too emotionally involved with someone? Or am I just hoping for that and maybe he's done with it? I'm sure I'm not giving you enough information to read my situation exactly but any kind of generalized advice would help. TIA!

He was laying it on kind of thick. My experience with Scorp men is that they usually don't open up to a woman so soon when it comes to their emotions. Good luck to you! Sending you good vibes.

i dunno. i think the others are being a bit mean. how are you generally at expressing your feelings for him? your account details what he said and did but there's not much mention of your response. perhaps he felt he put himself out there and didn't quite have the feelings returned with equal passion. that would make me wanna hide out.

or maybe he does the scorpio thing of just not believing you...words are cheap and actions speak louder kind of thing.

it's tricky really cos without knowing enough it's not possible to suggest whether you should contact him even if he doesn't respond, just to show you are there for him when needed....or whether to just move on before he really rips your heart out.

when in doubt....do nowt.

This could have easily been something I said, and certainly meant it. In fact, I think I did say it. 😛

I would never do this. Perhaps he's dead, because that's the only thing that would stop me at this point and frankly, I'm not sure death would have the power to stop me since I spit in his face and call him a bitch daily. 😛

"His pillow smelled of me" - that's quite a "novel" thing to say. Have you considered writing a book?
