i am in a long term relationship with a scorpio and this is a recurring theme with us. although this might not seem helpful and may be considered obvious, much depends on what your Scorp is trying to achieve. they like to contol a situation I find, and sometimes not responding to you is their way of doing that. i tend to think the majority of Scorp men appreciate a strong woman. therefore, show him that you are not hurt by his games and emotional drama (which is very much intended by him), and that might bring him around...

lol! he could just be a jerk - sadly not all scorps are of the evolved variety. you are too good for him! that being said, i remember something i read which was posted by Dancing Bread sometime ago which struck me as spot on: Scorps choose you rather than the other way around. So if this guy really has his heart set on you (which is entirely possible notwithstanding his current behaviour), he will indeed come around...nothing will stop him. the trick is just to move on (even if it kills you).

Good luck.

Am off to bed now - it's 2253 over here.

Take care

I have no problems with passion and intensity, its the childish games that bother me. I am the matter of fact type of person who would rather you openly tell me whats wrong even if it is me, so it can be fixed, instead of this. "I'm not talking to you crap" when something goes slightly wrong.

That was part of my tiff with Mr. Scorp this weekend that caused him to go cold on me. I made an advance on him to be more open and he completly shut down on me. I realized I was too pushy and apologized for trying to get him to go beyond his comfort zone with me and he has been moody ever since.

was meant to be going to bed and couldn't help myself...it's the libra in me having to say one more thing - lol...it's true what DB says in respect of taking the good with the bad with Scorp. My Scorp is emotionally intense about EVERYTHING (including his love for me), but with that comes mad drama. It's all a part of the territory. I don't think you did anything wrong, and there was no need to apologise. Be strong and confident in your asserting your emotional needs. I think the Scorp will ultimately respect that. Even if he doesn't show it initially. Remember they like to control a situation, their actions are often designed to elicit a certain reaction/response from you.

i have to agree with Mr DB here...it takes an incredible amount of patience and usually years of observation to understand where a Scorp is coming from. I have known my Scorp for nearly 1/2 my life (although we haven't consistenly been in communication), and although this helps, there is still a lot I need to learn. But if nothing else, I understand that he will not be moved beyond where he is ready to go until HE considers it safe/appropriate/necessary/has worked out all the risks.

I like adding the "Mr" - it adds a certain distinguished edge. Ive been reading your posts for some time - you are kinda like the "Dr Phil" of the Scorp boards - just teasing :-) "Mr" is my way of being humourous. Imagine me saying it with a wink. I'm not actually british - i'm still learning the slang too, but I love 'dodgy' though - it is one of those words which just covers so many situations!! I am actually of caribbean descent - so you really wouldn't want me using my patois slang! lol

Preference noted, DB :-)
