scorpios make me needy

my sister is a scorpio and we're best friends but we live very far apart. when she comes to visit for long periods of times (1-2 months) i get all needy. weird too because im the most independent person ever (or at least i think i am because im an aries). i all of a sudden cant do anything alone or without her and when she leaves i snap back out of it and realize how lame im acting. ive kinda found this to be true with other scorpio friends. is this some kind of weird scorpio mind trick? they make me needy and i can't handle it haha

Brad, when I read this thread, I thought about this as wearing the other persons shoes ...

When I am with my friend, I WANT to do things for her, and she lets me do things for her ... this doesn't make her needy .. this makes her be my friend and allows me to take care of something for her, or give her something.

And visa-versa .. for example: tomorrow a friend of mine is coming over with a roto-tiller and some plants to start a vegetable garden for me. She doesn't HAVE to do this, I'm perfectly happy with going to the grocery store and buying what I need to eat. But, she WANTS to do this for me because she is a gardener, she's an incrediable gardner and owns one of the many farms in this area who grows vegetables (and has hogs, sheep & goats).

Anyway .. the point is .. this doesn't make me needy of her .. it makes me allowing her to be my friend by her giving me something that she wants to do.


If a person doesn't need thier friend to be one .. then you aren't a friend to them.

you guys are awesome! ok so towards the end when she leaves we're always fighting lol. she's 2 and a half years younger than me and we're in our mid 20's too! it's usually something to the effect of "you took my jeans and now i want to pull your hair" kinda stuff...never serious. i dont think im mistaking wanting to just be with her with neediness though. she's like a tornado and when she comes around no fair warning is fair enough haha. she's quite magnetic though. i find her very plain looking and im always shocked at the guys she gets. i know that sounds terrible but it has to be her personality. everyone gets needy and clingy with her. i think i read the magnetism is a scorpio trait though

Yep I agree..definitely not needy..controlling we can be..well I can be..possessive..hell yes (but only of things that I give a shit about)..but scorpsting said it..we are incredibly self-sufficient and expect nothing less from those in our life..however hard we may be on them to get them to achieve that..we are a fair bunch I would say.

I miss my leo sister at times..but I think they miss me more..absence makes the heart grow fonder..and my youngest leo brother and I are the quiet ones in the family..we are also the ones that caused the most pain..lol..watch out for the quiet ones as they say..

I disagree with Scorpios being needy, atleast us ladies. Scorpio men I've met though, I can agree on for the most part. I will also disagree about Aries too. I know many of them and they really don't give a million fucks about like, anything; definitely not needy at all.

Most Cancer & Leo people I've met/known are very needy, constantly needing reassurance, being emotionally overbearing and kind of like openly pitying themselves in order to get it. I don't really understand but it's annoying.

This is it, we can point out how needy all the signs are...but it's about different things...

some signs want to talk intelligently and want you to pay attention or have an equally intelligent crap to talk about,

some signs want you to recognise how much they've achieved,

some signs want to pour out their ideas so others can do the dirty work,

some signs want you to recognise that they're king or the best,

some signs want you to provide them action or entertainment,

some signs want you to say how you feel and help you control or nurtur your feeling and their feelings,

some signs want to critique you into the version they like...

bottom line is, we all want something from another.... once we get what we want from another, we go on our jolly ways like others don't exist...but at the same time, no one is an island 😛

the way we go about it makes some signs seem needier than the others, some are just more subtle...the subtle signs are the ones that tend to drain you more in my experience. The obvious ones are well, obvious...no shockers there...
