someone explain to me...

why people disappear and come back to the boards with different names. I don't understand that. I don't post often, but lurk about quite a bit- and I've seen these "rebirths" occur frequently. Is there a reason behind it? Does someone make such an idiot out of himself/herself that he/she feels a "new" identity will make everything okay? Do people really take what's said on these boards to heart? Even though, for the most part, we're conversing with people we'll never really know? Am I just too old and out of the loop to get it? Enlightenment, please!

I haven't been on here long, but I know I've said a few things here and there that have caused debates, but I have no problem showing my screenname the next day. Freedom of speech, baby!

I've always had the same screenname and posted alot of stupid,mean and whatever else things here so don't really get the point in changing screennames on the count of that.Just about every older user probably has at least one thing they may regret or whatever however don't worry about it too much to change thier screenanme.

For the most common possibility are:Trolls!They are the main name changers.They always have a new created character popping up here to add some type of drama for thier sick fun.

Others are people who only post situaton based things and don't really chat with people when here.Drive by posters is what I call em,they may forget thier passwords and whatever by the time they come around again.

And a couple are older users have experimented here,off hand I can think of OFA who had another handle.In which she wanted to see if people would react differently if they thought she was a different sign other than an aqua.And I have thought of a couple ideas for screennames but those were for jokes.Example:Make a screenname for satan or something to add to a topic which was already tipping towards weirdness but never get around to it cause im lazy and stuff😢

I've always been TG. 🙂 Although sometimes it's nice to have a fresh new start - for people that screw up, and realized it, and want a different first impression.

hmmmm...so I could create different screen names for all seven of my personalities and everyone would be okay with that?

People do what they want...i wanted to change mine. But only because it wasn't mysterious enough not for fear of anything else.

So which signs do you think have the most multiple names? For what reasons?

I have another username, it's an inside joke with another poster here and it's "donkeybutter" (lol, I was having a joke about the new curse word filters at the time) - but I told everyone, "hey, it's me" etc so that nobody thought I was trying to pull one over.

I hate liars and phonies, so it bugs me when that's the motivation behind inventing a new "personality".

Well we all have to know that we are dealing with a variety of people, young old, childish and immature, they find this site create a thread and can't handle the comments from it, which creates a problem sometimes
