STINGER MEN do you want a mate who challenges you?
I am curious as to how Scorpio men will answer this as well. As a Cancer woman who can be the submissive peace-maker, I've been wondering if a Scorpio man would prefer someone more challenging, would someone like that appear stronger and to have more self-respect to him, and/or does a Scorpio man enjoy a challenge and the thrill of the chase as opposed to someone who is easy? Even putting signs aside, simply what are the characteristics that would keep a stereotypical Scorp interested?
I've never dated another scorp, I get along with them, they seem to be tougher and more assertive than the other water women and I like that. Pisces almost always turn me off on the other end of the water woman spectrum, born followers and super passive.
I want a woman that challenges me to enough to help me grow and evolve as a person. I don't want constant fighting and support is very important. I want someone who is an equal. She should be my foundation and I should be hers. She should be my cheerleader and I should be hers.
A Scorpio man and woman in a relationship with each other would be a blood bath I can imagine what the fights would be like it would be who could destroy each other and inflict the most damage.

I myself get along with Leo women there is one down the street from me she gets all nervous and shy around me she has a hard time talking to me lol. She's is with a guy so she's off limits, I worked with one she was the same she would get all giggly around me I could have good discussions with her we think the same. Again she's off limits she has a man in her life.

I can't stand passive women, I became friends with an Aqua girl she would keep me thinking, the Scorpio I worked with is the same. My female Gemini friends are too passive, the Leo I worked with intimidated me a little bit till I got to know her.

My Aries friend is direct and assertive but her and I butt heads we get along with each other but would kill each other if we were in a relationship.
I dated a quite hot scorpio guy for a few months. It wasn't meant to be a serious relationship at the time, but it kind of was. Actually it was close to perfect. He took me out to dinners, partying, paid for everything, wanted to go on holidays with me. There was a lot of perfect sex.
I think what made a guy like him want to keep dating me was that I was into some other people at the time. And he wasn't used to this because he was so perfect.
Anyways then I fell in love with someone else who was far from perfect (but we had great chemistry) and ended it. I had already mentioned it to him when we last saw each other, then I texted him and said I was in a serious relationship now but I would still miss him and we could meet for coffee sometimes.
Then after like a month, he texted me that he was seeing someone now and that we couldn't see each other anymore —— I was like, well, ok, great.. wtf I guess he wanted to feel like he ended it. Then one week later another text, 'it didn't work out, would you like to meet ?' well we never did.
For me scorpio woman +scorpio man = ... well it's all about chemistry !

Why would you say you can boss crabs and fish? You can't boss Crabs, either. Well, I should say that one can try, and if we really love someone a lot we will try to work on getting our boundaries respected, but if someone tramples that too much, too often and doesn't heed the warnings we will drop kick that person right in the balls and out of our lives. Young crabs are more tolerant of it for longer. More mature crabs who learn a few things won't put up with it.

If you actually love someone you don't feel the need to "boss" them or tell them how to live their life. You give them freedom and respect and trust that they will make the best decisions for the relationship. Needing to boss just shows how much lack of faith and respect you have for the person.

In fact, the females have more heightened intuition. furthermore, the reason and only reason a male and female wouldn't hit it off is one feeling the need dominate the other with all those stupid tests they put each other through to find out that they are both concrete, super sensitive emotional people who are afraid to share that with each other for whatever stupid reason. i'm a scorpio female dating a scorp male and i would say they're very much more challenging than the other signs i've dealt with. let him lowkey take the lead but still let him know what you want and expect. if you act like a doormat it wont work he'll use you and end up hurting your feelings

Yeah, it doesn't work so well. I have the uncanny ability to see into the heart of a person, both good and bad. Weaknesses, too. If used and abused I use that knowledge to devastating effect. I've always instinctually been this way. I'll protect loved ones with everything I have, but anyone who betrays me is fair game and no longer gets protected. ~shrugs~ It seems cutthroat, but only if you're on the receiving end. I also don't protect bullies.

You can't boss a Cancer woman around they will get you back the one of them I know she destroyed the guy she was married too. Never get on the bad side of a Cancer woman they can be just as nasty or worse than a Scorpio woman.

As for the OP..
I believe issues arise with Scorpio fem/male relationships when the have combinations and/or all of the below:
1. Both have Mercury in Scorpio.
2. Both have Venus in Scorpio.
3. Both have Moon in Scorpio.
4. Square/Opp between Moon/Venus
5. Square/Opp between Moon/Mars
That is when you get the conflict, resentment, or power struggles.
So if I am interpreting this correctly it's:
1. Communication - Similar styles of communication rub each other the wrong way?
2. Love nature - Is it that you want or need something different in this area?
3. Emotions - Is it best to have less or more emotional partner?
4. Emotions vs Love nature
5. Emotions vs Physical assertion and sexual nature.
So what would be a better placement? Trines, sextiles for example?
And this is why Scorpio pairings don't work so well. So much sibling rivalry! lol

ehh i used to think the same way and i definitely have sibling rivalry with my scorpio male friends but i'm with a scorpio guy right now and we work with each other. i'll let him take the lead and vice versa. at least you can reason with a scorpio male, can't say the same about my taurus ex LOL
